Doing what: Fijian Islands and Snorkel Full-Day Whales Tale Cruise including Beach BBQ Lunch
I had the pleasure of joining the Whale Tale Cruise with my 14yo son, 18yo daughter and her boyfriend. I found the old sailboat a delight and the smooth relaxing cruise out to the island brilliant. The crew were the highlight, so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to keep us enjoying every minute. The snorkelling was great and the glass bottom boat at the island was also a great way to see the reef. Safety was always paramount in the crews mind and they left nothing to chance. Lunch was delicious and abundant with the crew making sure we had eaten and drank enough before we continued on our afternoon activities. We then sailed back to port under a gorgeous afternoon sun listening to the souful soothing tones of the crew gently playing 2 guitars and the ukulele, singing and giving us all something to sing along with. Plenty of cold drinks to wind the afternoon away. I consider all the crew good friends now, the were all fantastic. THIS IS LIVING.

The trip itself was amazing but the pick up times on your site are incorrect. The pick up for the outrigger states 8:10am but unfortunately we missed the bus cause we were late... Luckily one of the friendly staff drove us.

The bus ride from the Outrigger (on the Coral Coast) takes an hour or so. Once you're on the boat, it's about an hour and a half to the island. There's brunch on the boat, lunch once you get to the island, and "tea" on the return trip (which for us was cake and cookies and things like that). The island is really, really small, but the snorkeling was good and the water was really nice. There's also kayaking, hand-line fishing, volleyball and a glass bottom boat ride (all included). The crew works really hard to keep everyone entertained. The only thing I didn't like was that (probably because of the unlimited free drinks), there are quite a few drunks on board by the end of the trip. Other than that, it was a fun and relaxing day.

Excellent - a real must for those visiting FIJI and wanting to experience FIJI hospitality. The crew are welcoming and very attentive to all their guests. The boat is roomy and allows everyone to sit back and enjoy the view. Great lunch and the drinks are free flowing. VINAKA - Whale's Tale.

Doing what: South Sea Island Day Cruise
There are a lot of activities for the price of this tour. Worth the money. Free booze. We had crummy weather so water visibility not the best but still good enough to see the small reef sharks patrolling the shallow water near the beach. The one down side was the beach. Beach consists primarily of shells and coral..not sand. Walking on beach is like walking on broken glass/rocks.

Doing what: Fiji Mamanuca Islands Sailing Cruise including Lunch
Great trip. Only 9 guests and 7 crew so VERY well looked after. Excellent food and limitless beer/wine/soft drinks. Crew entertained us well with guitar and singing. Comfortable, on time connectionsboth to and from Denarau and for the South Sea Cruises catamaran.
Mondriki snorkelling was superb and really exclusive; the current was a little strong for us being weaker swimmers. The BBQ lunch was excellent. Visit to the island and the Kava ceremony were interesting. The children and islanders were delightful. Have Fiji cash to buy a few things from their stalls. Another long and tiring but successful trip with Viator. Thanks!
ps confirming your trip by fone can be inconvenient and costly without a local cell fone.

Doing what: Castaway Island Day Cruise
The Island was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Snorkeling was great. We were disappointed that on the way home we thought the tour included free drinks and entertainment but on the boat we were told it wasn't included and to get that we had to pay extra... Would have been a perfect end to a perfect day relaxing back with a glass of wine. I think this should be sorted out as we feel we didn't get what we paid for.

this was a fabulous tour. Food and entertainment, truely unlimited food and drinks, made the day. A great way to enjoy Fiji. Good snorkeling(friend saw a reef shark who was not interested in us), great equipment ( and this matters) and local culture abounds on this tour. Beautiful! Really enjoyed.
