Doing what: Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
This was one of the best day tours we took! Matteo, our guide, driver and coordinator, was exceptional. He was informative, caring and like a good friend to all of us. Despite the tight time frames in a couple villages, we had time to explore on our own. It was our first time to Cinque Terre but it will not be our last. The beauty of the sea, cliff villages and terraced vineyards were phenomenal. We are so glad we took this day trip - it was worth the Euro and time.

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
The Cinque Terre Hiking trip was amazing!!! My husband and I both agree it was the best day of our whole trip to Italy! We had gorgeous weather, awesome tour guides, and just an overall great day. We loved each village and enjoyed the hike very much. The lunch was the best meal we ate and the "surprise" at the end was great! I would highly recommend this and it was definitely worth every penny!!!

Best day of our trip to Italy. Wish we had more time to shop but the hiking, food and wine was awesome. Sandra was an awesome tour guide. Bus was clean and comfortable. If you want to get some exercise and see a beautiful part of the word, do the Cinque Terre hiking day trip!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
One of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Both Julien and Alex took such a good care of all of us making our experience more enjoyable. We followed their advice to look back (as the most beautiful views could be behind us) and got rewarded with some breathtaking pictures. It was really amazing how our guides handled the logistics of the tour. It included hiking, train and boat rides and invloved 50 people with various levels of fitness. We did not feel rushed, hiked at our own pace and enjoyed free time in the villages. Perfect day exploring Cinque Terre!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
This tour, led by Luca, was basically an all day adventure over four of the five islands of Cinque Terre. It included lots of walking along the "Lovers Walk" as well as a boat trip from one village to another. There were opportunities to shop in the local stores as well as a generous amount of time for a lunch break. This tour is exactly as advertised and well worth the money.

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
This day trip was amazing and well worth the time and money. It is a great way to really see and experience the Cinque Terra if you only have one day. Our tour guide Ellie was wonderful. She was friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job keeping our group together. She even gave us some great dinner suggestions for when we returned to Florence. We went to both places and they did not disappoint! The lunch that was included was some of the best food we had in Italy and was a nice break to sit and get to know some of the others on the tour with us. We were very impressed by all aspects of this tour and our fantastic tour guide Ellie and would recommed this day trip to anyone who doesn't mind a little excercise and seeing some of the most beautiful scenery in Italy!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
Our tour with John couldn't have been better - I highly recommend him for anyone who wants the perfect day trip to Cinque Terre. He was very informative, but at the same time knew when to give space and let us explore for ourselves, and the trip itself was very thoughtfully put together to best highlight the area in only one day's time. It was incredibly convenient (picked us up and dropped us off in the city center), and while we had a packed day, we still had time to come home, change, and go to dinner when we got back. Go on this trip!!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
Loved this tour. The guide group are fantastic and really look after all age groups. Informative, well organised tour with great views on the bus trip. Once at the Cinque Terre tracks, you can take a train to some towns rather than walk the trails if you have health issues. Most of the trail is fairly easy going however some of the steps up to Corniglia can be a little exhausting however this is where we stopped for a fantastic 2 course lunch overlooking the ocean. Final stop and indulge in the wine tasting of local white wines which is the areas specialty from each of the townships before catching the ferry boat back which again is lovelly to see the townships from the sea side great photo opportunities. Fantastic day out, met so many lovelly people.

Doing what: Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
Let me first say how WONDERFUL our guide was on this trip. Not only was he a wealth of information about everything we passed during the trip, but he also cares very much about the comfort and well being of the people on his tour. I feel tourists should know that this tour involves an approximately 2 hour drive from Firenze to the Cinque Terre in each direction. Also, due to a landslide last fall, you will not see Vernazza on this tour, contrary to the description. We lucked out, as the other people scheduled to be on the tour with us cancel the day before. This resulted in a private tour for my daughter and I! Our guide gave us the choice of stopping in either Luca or Portovenere in place of Vernazza. We chose Portovenere and it was amazing! It's an upscale Cinque Terre and I loved it! The Cinque Terre is beautiful, but it was our guide that made this tour so wonderful. It was a rainy day, and he bought my five year old daughter an umbrella. He made sure to have the car ready and waiting for us so as to avoid getting wet. When my daughter reached for his hand to walk the streets, he didn't mind at all. Our guide is a pure class act. We invited him to lunch with us, during which he told us all sorts of knowledge of regional Italian foods and wine. The next time I go to Firenze, I will be directly contacting the tour company and requesting our guide. Grazie mile for such a wonderful day. This was by far the highlight of our week in Italy, even with the rain.

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
This tour was absolutely AMAZING and a must-do daytrip from Florence.
Per the description, the Cinque Terre Trek is a great way to see all 5 towns in one day. Each of the towns were equally beautiful, but with their own individual characteristics and charm, from towering hillside vineyards to breathtaking sea views. It was also great to have some free time to explore each of the towns on our own.
There were a few occasions where we took the train from one town to the next, although the majority was on foot. It’s important to wear the appropriate clothes and shoes since at times the path is rocky and rugged, with lots of stairs both up and down. For people who weren’t up for the hike, the guides were great in helping them navigate the trains so that they could reconnect with the group in the next town.
We ate lunch at a cliff-side restaurant overlooking the water, which consisted of a choice of seafood or salad for the antipasto and the most amazing pesto pasta you could imagine (a marinara option was also available but believe me, you’ll love the pesto).
The most impressive part of the trip (besides the location itself) was the guides. Our tour had 3 guides, and the group was divided among them into smaller groups. They were extremely well organized, professional, friendly and eager to help each person customize their experience with recommendations for cafes, bars, gelato shops and other things to see and do in each town.
My husband and I would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
This trip to Cinque Terre was very organized and well planned/thought out. I really enjoyed this hike and am glad I signed up. I didn't know everything I was getting into but the hike was perfect, seeing all the towns and even getting on a boat ride! Lunch was included, as were train fees. All we had to do was follow our experienced guides- very personable and friendly. I would have not been able to do this hike on my own and it was great to have tour guides there helping us along the way, explaining history and giving us information about each town along the way. The hike did not feel rushed and was not too difficult- I expected a more intense hike. For people who were not fit, or older people, there were busses that took them to the other towns. This was a perfect day trip from Florence. I really enjoyed my time and will remember this day for a long time, thanks to the guides and the wonderful experience I had!

Doing what: Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
This was a beautiful scenic tour. Our guide was fantastic. Shared stories about Florence and the Tuscany region as we passed through on our ride to Cinque Terre. He made our day very pleasant. Went out of his way to stop and let us take all the pictures we wanted to have for memories. Would recommend this trip to any one who is thinking about it. Plus my daughter went on the hiking tour to Cinque Terre and she enjoyed that as well. Great Tour!
