Doing what: Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

This tour was a good all-around overview. One thing I didn't like was that we were grouped with a Spanish speaking tour on a bus which meant that half the time we could not understand what was going on. I'm sure they filled us in, but it felt rushed and or shortened as there were two sharing the mic. Normally, this wouldn't bother me but on a tour I paid for I didn't particularly appreciate it. The lunch was about what you'd expect for the price - fair.

What a day! We arrived in Florence early and our guide was already there, so we checked in early, which made us feel very comfortable. The guide was a native Tuscan, so she was able to speak with authority, and wow did she know her stuff! She was obviously an art lover, but she also knew lots about architecture and Italian history. We all learned so much from her. The walking tour took us into parts of Florence that we did not know existed, and there was more than plenty of time to see the sights that were pointed out. We ended up seeing much more than we could have done ourselves, and small buildings or artwork that we would normally have walked past were explained in great detail. This tour is just wonderful for people who are new to Florence and need a place to start in one of the world's most wonderful cities. Highly recommended.

Doing what: Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

We were really glad that we had booked the sight-seeing tour. We did the morning and afternoon tours on separate days, and would never have learned so much of Florence's history without them. We especially enjoyed the walking part of the tour, where our friendly and helpful guide pointed out interesting buildings we would have missed if we had just wandered around by ourselves. Of course, the real advantage of the tour is being able to avoid the queues and walk straight into the Accademia! Our guide was really knowledgeable and told us lots about the various exhibits. Michaelangelo's David was really worth seeing.

Doing what: Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

It's a good tour if you plan to see the city of Florence along with Uffizi gallery. Our guide was fantastic and spoke English very well. She had knowledge of paintings which made the tour very interesting. At the end of the tour, we were taken by bus to a hill from where we had a view of Florence. We were not allowed to get off the bus on the hill which was very disappointing.

Guides at the Uffizi and Academia galleries were extremely knowledgeable. Interesting tour and a good way to get a broad view of the city.

the drive up to Fisole in the bus was interesting but would've been better if the bus had actually stopped somewhere for us to take photos of the wonderful view. Other than that the tour was very interesting and worth doing.

Doing what: Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

Our guide was very knowledgable but I felt the foot tour did not catch the most interesting sights of Florence except for the Duomo. We walked from the Santa Trinitie bridge and did not see much until Piazza Duomo. (and there is lots to see!) Please let people know the foot tour does not enter into these buildings. We misunderstood this and had expected to go into the Baptistry and Duomo. Also, we DID NOT bypass lines for the Academie. We waited over 1 1/2 hours to get inside. I'm not sure how to avoid that! All the tour guides were professional and courteous.

Doing what: Florence Half-Day or Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

Tour was pretty good, got to see a good overview of Florence. There were no headsets for most of the trip, so it was often difficult to hear our guide. The guide did give a lot of good information about all the art and sculptures in the Accademia, which was very helpful. It says you get to skip the lines, which is somewhat true, but really you just get to join the line with all the other "skip-the-line" tours. We actually waited in line for about 25 minutes. Overall, still a pretty good tour.

We took the full day tour. It was a full busy day. We spent a bit too long at the Ufizzi on the top floor so were rushed to complete the day and missed some of the masters I would have liked to see. Our guides were knowledgeable and we did get a great overview.

Did the half day tour including the Accademia. Got a good overview of Florence. The guide for the Accedemia was excellent. However, we did have to wait about 45 minutes to get into the museum.

Doing what: Florence Day Trip from Rome

This is a worthwhile excursion if you are rushed for time. It gives you a very good over view of Florence, lunch is acceptable and the Florence guide was especially talented.
Good value for the money

Chiara, our tour guide, when we could hear her, was good. Her English was ok. This tour did not provide headsets during the walking portion and we REALLY needed them. We couldn't hear anything Chiara said outside. Unfortunately, the Academia was closed and we were unable to see David. We had to stay the next morning to see him. Make sure that you don't book this tour for a Monday. We saw a lot of buildings but didn't get to go into many of them. The view from the Michelangelo point was fabulous and was the best part of the tour.
