Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
I thought the tour was great. My husband and I were really happy we did it. Our tour guide was funny and informative. We loved seeing Siena and the tour of it was really good and it was nice to have the free time there. The farm, lunch and wine tasting were excellent. My only complaint would be that we were not able to spend more time in Pisa. We had chosen to climb the Leaning Tower which really gave us little time to walk around. It was a full day so I'm not sure how they could have done it differently - maybe cut out a little time at San Gigmignano. But all in all it was an awesome trip!

One of the highlights of our trip to Italy! We took our daughter who was studying for a semester in Florence along and had a fantastic day. Stops in Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa were interesting and lunch with wine-tasting at the organic farm in Chianti was amazing. Views of the Tuscan countryside are spectacular! Our tour guide and the bus driver were great. Highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
WOW - this was a great day. Our tour guide Stefan was funny and attentive. We met at the train terminal and boarded our bus starting out with a visit to Siena where we picked up a local guide. We then were off to a Winery where we had a tour of the small facility and enjoyed a wonderful lunch consisting of Pasta Bolognese, breads, 4 different wines, cheeses, salad and more. No limitations on the wine. From there we went to San Gimignano which was simply a shopping trip to a mid-evil village. Had some wonderful Gelato there. Finally off to Pisa where we visited the leaning tower and took the Cliche pictures. All in all it was a first class trip.
There was a little confusion at the start. Viator actually contracts with local tour providers. This particular tour was marketed under different names so we were not sure we were on the right one until we met a few others who had Viator coupons.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
This tour was amazing. The sights we saw were well worth the money. We saw vast Tuscan estates, the most beautiful Italian church (outside of the Vatican) in Siena, the medieval town of San Giminiano, the leaning tower of Pisa (it's the second time I've seen it but it still takes my breathe away), and the wine estate where we ate pasta and drank wine. Our guide (Sandra) and our driver (Fabio) made the trip very educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the best days of our trip to Italy in November 2011.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Our tour guide Barbara was great. The trip was very informational and I feel that we spent the perfect amount of time in each city. Siena and San Gimignano were beautiful and everything I wish Florence was. Before the trip I could really care less about the Pisa stop but once I saw the leaning tower in person I was very impressed. The winery stop for lunch was the best part of the trip, maybe the best part of my 10 days in Italy. The food was amazing, the wine was great, and the scenery was beautiful. This was the one part of the trip were I wish we could have gotten another half hour or more to relax, eat, and drink. The bus rides were about 1-2 hours between each stop so they didn't take too long. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested, it was one of the top highlights of our honeymoon in Italy.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Great trip! Our tour guide, Michelle, was wonderful. The lunch at the vineyard was fantastic. The time in each town is short, which we knew before we booked. If you want to thoroughly explore a town, this trip is not for you. If you want to see the highlights of a few medieval looking towns, this is the trip to take. We also climbed the Leaning Tower of Pisa, fantastic views, but not an easy climb, especially after all the hill climbling of the day

Great trip. Long day but worth it. Barbara our tour guide had a lot of energy and knew the sights well.
Siena was a great town and worth the trip. Seeing the place where the Palio takes happens was great. I had never heard of it until that day.
The winery tour was the highlight of the day. The food was good, the wine was as good and the scenery was exceptional.
Seeing the leaning tower in Pisa was awesome. I'm glad I saw it in a one day tour such as this as the rest of Pisa was not as impressive as the other towns we saw.
Great day and highly recommended!

An amazing tour! This day was so full and interesting...Starting at Sienna, the local guide was witty and informative.
Lunch at the organic farm was great...particularly the unlimited wine part :) the town of San Giminano was beautiful and really felt like medievil city.
The time in Pisa was essentially all consumed by climbing the tower, however I considered this a very worthwhile venture and great experience.
Our guide Michelle was delightful the entire way through. Her knoweldge of Florence as well interesting historical facts, as well as her generally helpful demeaner made the trip especially enjoyable.

This was a trip not to miss! Postcard picturesque. Our tour guide, Barbara, was very informative and kept up her energy throughout the very long day. The winery was a lot of fun, great food, wine, olive oil and scenery. We made it to the top of the tower in Pisa. I would recommend this for a speedy overall view of the area. It was my favorite!!

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
A Lifetime experience!!! First of all, the places - Siena, san Gimignano, Chianti and Pisa are amazing and must in the list of one travelling Tuscany and to experience the real tuscan beauty. But unfortunately they are not doable in one day by its own either by car or using public transport from Florence. We were not so much in the guided tours so we first thought to explore them by our own and we fought a lot to fit them in 2 days itinerary - Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa along with Chianti wine tasting. But it was not possible due to crap public transport in the region. We glad we came to know about this tour. All of these four experiences together only in one day and that is with very comfortable and well managed plan. Even I think driving on sloppy tuscan lanscape is also not the solution to fit all these places in one or two days. So This is a gracious and only option to experience these places together as day trip from florence. Our tour guide Becky was awesome. The place we were knows how to maintain 200% customer satisfaction index and their whole team really worked hard to make their clients' holiday special. So do not worry regarding any guide you get they all are awesome that's what you can read here in all reviews. our wonderful tour companion Becky was paying attention to each one of us in the bus and giving tons of insights information in very light and amazing way. She really made our day!! The tour started from Florence at sharp 830. The preferable sitting position is Right side in bus that I found for wonderful landscape photograph opportunities (this is my personal observation and opinion not necessary true, because I was sitting at left side. She explained us lot about Florence while leaving the city and about 500 years long interesting competition between Siena and Florence. She very well created interest in Siena before we reached to this wonderful city. Siena is no doubt the most beautiful Tuscan city and among the most beautiful cities in Italy. The whole city is in stark difference from Florence and it's an life time experience to walk in their contrades and silent streets. We had local tour guide Elena. She was excellent in explaining about Siena. She is Sienese and was proud about her city. She walked us through 7 contrade of Siena to the cathedral and explained wonderful history of it. The Cathedral of Siena is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and we found it's really true. The whole Siena is perfect photographic opportunity for enthusiastic photographer... Elena did great job and and also We got our own free time 1 hour 20 minutes to walk into Sienese streets and admire cathedral and Campo Square. we were about 3 hours in Siena. Then we started for San Gimignano, Becky showed us nice video of Palio race. We were completely fascinated by Siena. And then the most wonderful part of trip has come. We were in the organic farm where a local guide draw us to wine farm and had winery visit they also explained how they are performing organic agriculture. The farm is at strategic location on hill and offering wonderful views of surrounding country side. It was San Gimignano just front of us. It was best photographic location. Then we had really wonderful lunch. even being vegetarian we got lots of stuff and plenty of most amazing wine. Chianti Classico and San Gimignano wine drove us crazy. We also had opportunity to taste Vino Santo the desert wine only produced in Tuscany along with Almond biscotti. You should really do some shopping from that farm, we regretted that we didn't do any as after lunch we were completely drunk and busy with photographs. It was hot tuscan day. Our next stop was world haritage San Gimignano. It was completely movie set and we felt like walking in 14th century village. Truly amazing, we got 1 and half hour free time there, it was enough. Becky told us the best view point La Rocca castle and it was really providing best views on country side and village. Also she pointed out the world's best ice cream shop. and my goodness it was the best ice cream we ever had. we tasted their White wine, saffron, fig, mango and melon flavors all were awesome. This is must in San Gimignano. Our last stop is Pisa where we got enough free time to explore fields of miracles and we also got nice train ride of town of Pisa, which is really informative. We landed back to Florence around 2000. On the way back, Becky answered us our queries and questions regarding Florence and Tuscany. She really helped us to make itinerary of our last day in Florence. It was a memorable day. Three Unesco World Heritage sites in one day. Very nicely managed, we didn't come to know where day ended. The tour was very well planned and not at all tiresome. Thanks Becky!

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Stefano, thank you!! what an amazing adventure through Tuscany! all the sites were planned perfectly, the bus ride was comfortable, clean, air conditioned!!!! (which is very important as it was very hot outside). the lunch was incredible, if not only for the food, but for the mesmerizing view. Stefano was kind, energetic, funny, and very helpful. He even suggested some places we can go to in Florence for entertainment and dining in the evenings as it was our first day there. that was more than we expected. Sienna was actually incredible. It is such a different world there, i felt like I was transported centuries back. we even had a chance to see the parade of the Shell contrada which was unbelievable. Also, in PIsa, Stefano showed us where to stand to take the best leaning tower pictures. I'm afraid I will ramble on forever about how amazing this trip was so I will just say, it is a MUST!!! how else would I have been able to see 3 extra cities in one day, enjoy organic fresh Italian food and wine and meet wonderful people. I had to convince my boyfriend to go on this tour and he has been thanking me and apologizing for doubting my choice every single day... and he is a very opinionated person. Thank you so much Viator! To everyone else, ENJOY!!

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
An excellent tour that was very well organised our guide Michelle was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed throughout the day. We did not spend a lot of time in Pisa and as we went up the leaning tower we did not have enough time to visit the Cathedral. This did not however detract from the day and was overcome by another visit to Pisa later in our holiday. Overall the trip was excellent and worth the money paid.

This trip was the best I have every been on. The tour was run by Walk about Tours and our Tour guide was Becky. She was informative, fun and truly interesting. She paid attention to every person on the bus and made sure that everyone learned what they wanted to learn and saw what they wanted to see. I was so impressed by her and the whole agenda of this tour. From Florence to San Gimiaganio, to the farm house for lunch and on to Pisa, there was never a moment that wasn't perfect.
You truly want a taste of Tuscany in one day ask for a tour led by Becky at WalkAbout Tours.
