Sure, the Leaning Tower is great, but don’t sell Pisa short, with a cultural, historical, and architectural significance that is often overlooked, this city is amongst Italy’s finest, and not to be missed-out on. Start out by grabbing a slice and moseying toward the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where amid its spectacular view is the Romanesque marble Cathedral of the Duomo di Pisa, the Battistero (Baptistery) and Campo Santo Monumentale (cemetery).

Afterward, have a relaxing stroll along the gleaming Arno River toward the beautiful buildings of the Lungarnos, or if you are in the mood to check out the scene’s of Pisa’s plentiful medieval and Renaissance era history and structures, there is the Piazza dei Cavalieri (Knight’s Square), where Pisan’s would vocalize their issues. There are also nine historical structures for your viewing pleasure, including a church, statue of Cosimo I, and the 16th century palace Palazzo della Carovana.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

This was our best guided-tour among our honeymoon tours which includes Italy, Turkey and Grecce. We have engaged about 7 guided-tours in this hoilday and I have to rate this as our best and top guided-tour. Tuscany was a beautiful places to go and I recommended this shall not be a place to miss. But overall, our tour guide who made the differences. As you know, a boring tour-guide can makes you sleep in the bus or uninterested in certain places unknown to you. With her, she makes everything so interesting including excellent services and attitude and friendiness. She is able to explained most of the places with her deep knowledge of its history. Thank you, for making this trip a wonderful one!
