Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

One of the highlights of our trip to Italy! We took our daughter who was studying for a semester in Florence along and had a fantastic day. Stops in Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa were interesting and lunch with wine-tasting at the organic farm in Chianti was amazing. Views of the Tuscan countryside are spectacular! Our tour guide and the bus driver were great. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic!!! The tour guide was extremely knowledgable, passionate and great fun. We learnt so much about Chianti wine making and enjoyed drinking and eating as much as we could. We are a young couple who highly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

We decided to do this tour of Tuscany just before leaving Australia on our European vacation and we were not disappointed. The tour takes in the cities of Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa, which are all amazing places to visit in their own way and have so much to offer. Not to mention seeing the Leaning tower of Pisa which was incredible in real life. But the true highlight was the great lunch at an organic farm in Chianti with wine tasting and tour.

Sandra our guide truly brings to life your visit to Tuscany and does an excellent job of explaining the country side, what you are about to see, places of interest, where the public facilities are and much more. I have done many tours and Sandra kept the tour on track and there was never any doubt about what was coming next.

This tour is a must DO when you visit Florence so be sure to include it in your plans.

This tour was so much fun...and our guide, Duccio Lorenzo was very accommodating. We enjoyed the first stop in Siena, then had lunch on the way back to Florence at a little restaurant in a and quot;Castle-Fort and quot;..very enjoyable. The little village was charming and there we had a wine tasting as well. Last stop was at San Gimignano which is beautiful. All in all this tour was exactly what we wanted for the day. Ask for Duccio Lorenzo!

Doing what: Tuscany Bike Tour from Florence

The tour was very scenic and quite enjoyable. Our group was great and so was Barbara our guide who was very knowledgeable about the area, wine and particularly olive oil. Lunch was good but I suppose the only area I would improve on is that the tour only visits the one winery. I would like to wine-taste and at least three. But maybe that's not a great idea when you have to ride a push-bike afterwards! All in all it was a pleasant day and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride around the picturesque Chianti region of Tuscany.

Our driver and guide Jacopo for the day was very enthusiastic and answered all our questions about Florence on the way to Chianti.

The horse ride itself was fantastic and relaxing and no prior experience is required!! The horses are very well trained and minimal "steering" is required.

After the ride we were treated to a nice lunch at the winery following by explanations on the wine and olive oil production by Joseph (another guide) at the winery as well as a tour of the grounds.

On the way back to Florence we stopped by for some Gelato which was great!! This was definitely our highlight from our trip to Florence and we would highly recommend it :)

As accommodating as possible, in every way. We were very late for our tour, and even though FlorenceTown didn't have a horseback tour scheduled for the next day, they scheduled us in, anyway. I offered extra money for this, and the gentleman refused -- I just don't see how you could get more accommodating than that.

And then, the next day, when we did do the tour, it was AWESOME. After our beautiful horseback ride, we spent our time, just my wife and I, with Joseph, and he drove us around Chianti, took us for espresso and gelato, and showed us some gorgeous sights and views. We really liked Joseph: he was enjoyable and knowledgeable, anyone is very lucky to get him as their guide.

FlorenceTown was great, as was the horseback tour: I highly recommend them!

Great day out in Chianti, with a wonderful tour guide, delicious wine, good food and great stops! Terrific!

It's a very well orginized trip and defiantly money worth. With lots of site seeing, wine tasting and snacks. They really did cover a lot of the Chianti wine and surroundings.

This was my favorite part of my trip to Italy. I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon Florencetown via this website. I had the best time touring the Chianti countryside with our guide. He was knowledgeable, amiable, and causal. He had a great time and insured that we did as well. I was traveling through Italy alone and this tour was my favorite part of all Italy. You get to be active, you get to be outside, and you get to see a part of the world you otherwise may not have been able to see. I highly recommend this particular excursion because it was a beautiful day spent. And believe the guide when he tells you, it's the best gelato you'll have in all of Italy :)

The Tuscany/Chianti wine region is absolutely beautiful. The presentation at the winery was outstanding, as was the wine tasting itself. The guide on the motor coach was just "OK". I would recommend this tour.

This trip to the Chianti region was honestly the highlight of my trip! The tour guide was the best that I have ever had and the wine is delicious, along with that snacks. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the Florence area.

The tour of the castle was very interesting and the guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the castle and VERY passionate about Italian cuisine and Chianti in particular.

We tried 2 different Chiantis--one young and one aged and we had the vineyards wonderful Vin Santo. We also had some bruschette to accompany the tasting.

They also have olive groves there and produce their own very good oil. It would have been nice if we could have arranged to have dinner in the restaurant at the castle as it was a well known Tuscan restaurant.

The stop in Santa Brigida was not so interesting.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

After over 20 different Viator tours across Europe, this was the absolute best!!! Greatest and most efficient way to see Tuscany if you only have a day. They took us to the beautiful town of Siena, followed by the smaller town of San Gimignano, a wonderful lunch at a farm in Chianti with the most beautiful views of Tuscany, and ended with climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa (all in one day!). A day I will never forget. And our guide, Becky, was excellent!

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

This was the hightlight for us. Becky our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful person. We jus Loved her. Sienna was beautiful wish we had an extra hour to shop. The dumo was georgeous. I would skip Pisa and spend the extra time in Sienna. Lunch in Chianti was delicious along with the 4 diffent types of wines you tasted. The scenary was breathtaking. Next we went to San Gimangiano. Another beautiful Tuscany town. I would definetly come back and visit here. Our last stop was Pisa , which gave you enough time to climb the tower. The views from up there were beautiful. The climb is not easy because the steps are made of marble and are very worn so your footing is not straight. This day was something I will cherrish forever.
