Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Our guide Becky was charming, warm, very informative. The tour itself is out of this world, I can't believe we saw so much of Tuscany in 12 hours and without feeling rushed! Our Siena tour guide Donatella was great...so funny and nice. Siena is beautifyl as is San G....Chianti Region was great too, nice guide/great wine/good food. Climbing the Pisa tower was a nice way to end this unforgetable trip...I highly recommend it to all!

Doing what: Small-Group Tuscany Wine-Tasting Tour from Florence
Fantastic day trip from Florence! Glass after glass of beautiful wine (Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan), great food and simply gorgeous scenery. Our guide Matteo was really knowledgeable and friendly -- telling us everything we wanted to know about the region and the wine-making process. We felt like proper wine buffs by the end of the tour!
This tour was so much fun...and our guide, Duccio Lorenzo was very accommodating. We enjoyed the first stop in Siena, then had lunch on the way back to Florence at a little restaurant in a and quot;Castle-Fort and quot;..very enjoyable. The little village was charming and there we had a wine tasting as well. Last stop was at San Gimignano which is beautiful. All in all this tour was exactly what we wanted for the day. Ask for Duccio Lorenzo!

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
This trip to the Chianti region was honestly the highlight of my trip! The tour guide was the best that I have ever had and the wine is delicious, along with that snacks. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the Florence area.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine-Tasting and Dinner Half-Day Trip from Florence
This was the best day of our trip! The Chianti region is sooo beautiful! We enjoyed the tour of the winery and the tasting. There were some snacks to go with the wine. We had a little time to walk through two villages and then went to dinner in a third town. The restaurant was in an old stone building. We felt as though we had entered a time machine and came out 500 years earlier. The dinner was very good, but it was the atmosphere that was 5 stars.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
A Lifetime experience!!! First of all, the places - Siena, san Gimignano, Chianti and Pisa are amazing and must in the list of one travelling Tuscany and to experience the real tuscan beauty. But unfortunately they are not doable in one day by its own either by car or using public transport from Florence. We were not so much in the guided tours so we first thought to explore them by our own and we fought a lot to fit them in 2 days itinerary - Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa along with Chianti wine tasting. But it was not possible due to crap public transport in the region. We glad we came to know about this tour. All of these four experiences together only in one day and that is with very comfortable and well managed plan. Even I think driving on sloppy tuscan lanscape is also not the solution to fit all these places in one or two days. So This is a gracious and only option to experience these places together as day trip from florence. Our tour guide Becky was awesome. The place we were knows how to maintain 200% customer satisfaction index and their whole team really worked hard to make their clients' holiday special. So do not worry regarding any guide you get they all are awesome that's what you can read here in all reviews. our wonderful tour companion Becky was paying attention to each one of us in the bus and giving tons of insights information in very light and amazing way. She really made our day!! The tour started from Florence at sharp 830. The preferable sitting position is Right side in bus that I found for wonderful landscape photograph opportunities (this is my personal observation and opinion not necessary true, because I was sitting at left side. She explained us lot about Florence while leaving the city and about 500 years long interesting competition between Siena and Florence. She very well created interest in Siena before we reached to this wonderful city. Siena is no doubt the most beautiful Tuscan city and among the most beautiful cities in Italy. The whole city is in stark difference from Florence and it's an life time experience to walk in their contrades and silent streets. We had local tour guide Elena. She was excellent in explaining about Siena. She is Sienese and was proud about her city. She walked us through 7 contrade of Siena to the cathedral and explained wonderful history of it. The Cathedral of Siena is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and we found it's really true. The whole Siena is perfect photographic opportunity for enthusiastic photographer... Elena did great job and and also We got our own free time 1 hour 20 minutes to walk into Sienese streets and admire cathedral and Campo Square. we were about 3 hours in Siena. Then we started for San Gimignano, Becky showed us nice video of Palio race. We were completely fascinated by Siena. And then the most wonderful part of trip has come. We were in the organic farm where a local guide draw us to wine farm and had winery visit they also explained how they are performing organic agriculture. The farm is at strategic location on hill and offering wonderful views of surrounding country side. It was San Gimignano just front of us. It was best photographic location. Then we had really wonderful lunch. even being vegetarian we got lots of stuff and plenty of most amazing wine. Chianti Classico and San Gimignano wine drove us crazy. We also had opportunity to taste Vino Santo the desert wine only produced in Tuscany along with Almond biscotti. You should really do some shopping from that farm, we regretted that we didn't do any as after lunch we were completely drunk and busy with photographs. It was hot tuscan day. Our next stop was world haritage San Gimignano. It was completely movie set and we felt like walking in 14th century village. Truly amazing, we got 1 and half hour free time there, it was enough. Becky told us the best view point La Rocca castle and it was really providing best views on country side and village. Also she pointed out the world's best ice cream shop. and my goodness it was the best ice cream we ever had. we tasted their White wine, saffron, fig, mango and melon flavors all were awesome. This is must in San Gimignano. Our last stop is Pisa where we got enough free time to explore fields of miracles and we also got nice train ride of town of Pisa, which is really informative. We landed back to Florence around 2000. On the way back, Becky answered us our queries and questions regarding Florence and Tuscany. She really helped us to make itinerary of our last day in Florence. It was a memorable day. Three Unesco World Heritage sites in one day. Very nicely managed, we didn't come to know where day ended. The tour was very well planned and not at all tiresome. Thanks Becky!

Doing what: Vespa Small Group Day Trip to the Chianti Wine Region
My family did the Vespa Small Group Day trip through the Chianti Wine region, and it was one of my favorite things we did in Italy. The tour guides Andrea and Jacob were AWESOME. They were personable, entertaining, and knowledgeable. You could tell that they sincerely enjoyed their jobs which made the entire group enjoy their trip. We toured the beautiful wine region which was breathtaking, and the stops at the winery, cafe, and gelato stop were informative and delicious! You truly get the feel of Italy on this trip. It was well worth the money, and I would recommend it to anyone. One recommendation: Be careful on the Vespas and make sure to take your time training! They can be a little tricky if you don't have any experience.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Simply brilliant. Becky, our tour guide from walkabout tours, was a real gem and made the trip so enjoyable. Tour guide in Siena was great too. Lunch at the organic tuscan winery/farm was divine. The food was great and we all left in a very merry state. A great way to get a first taste of tuscany and the chianti region. Customer service was excellent and Becky constantly checked with everyone to see if all was ok. It was simply a great tour. Have already recommended this tour to others and will continue to do so.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
This tour was an excellent experience and way to see the breathtaking countryside of Florence. The Viator CAF staff member holding the sign was a little difficult to find. When you get off the train and you leave the station, go to the right so you are walking toward the large, brown church and they will be on the corner across from the church. Our tour guide was very good and so funny! I wish I could remember her name. She definitely made the trip enjoyable. Once on board the bus, we drove through Florence and the Chianti region. The guide explained some history on the way as it was a good 30 minute drive to the castle, but the scenery on the way was gorgeous. There were vineyards and olive trees everywhere. The castle employee showed us the vineyards and explained the process. Unfortunately, we took this tour the last week of October 2009 so most of the grapes had already been harvested. Next, we went through the wine cellar and then out to the garden where we could take pictures for a few minutes. Then we went to the area to taste the wine, bread and olive oil. The olive oil was very good. You could purchase wine if you liked after the tasting was over. Then we had about five minutes after to take more pictures. After the caste we stopped in a little town where we tasted salami, cheese both great! and purchased a wine card for Euro10 to taste several different wines. Then we left and were dropped off back at our meeting point. The tour guide did not talk on the way back, which was good as many people were tired and napped on the way back.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
While traveling in Italy on our honeymoon, my wife and I booked this wine tour. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The bus ride was quick and the guide gave us an interesting history of Florence on our way to the Chianti Region. We visited a former castle with a medieval dungeon turned wine cellar underneath. It was beautiful and fascinating! The views were outstanding, plenty of photo opportunities. After sharing 3 bottles of wine and crackers and cheese with 6 other people, we headed back. The bus was comfortable and the whole trip was just what we were up for. Especially considering the price.

Doing what: Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour
I loved the trip to Tuscany very much. Visiting 4 places in the Tuscan region gave me the best glimpse of the region in one day. The trip to Chianti and the lunch including wine tasting were great. The food was so fresh, and the scenery of the farmyard was astonishing. I also enjoyed Sienna and San Gimignano cities. Both are old but classical cities, and had the best gelatos I've ever tasted. Our tour guide was nice and very practical. I really recommend this tour for those who love Italian landscapes and villages.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
This was an excellent tour. If we had not booked a tour, I doubt we would have driven into the Chianti region. We were taken to a particularly interesting wine business in a castle, where another guide gave an excellent tour of the facilities. We were allowed to taste wine and even given a snack. Very good experience, we would certainly recommend this trip.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
The tour was a convenient and easy way for me to be introduced to the Chianti region. The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous and a nice break from my stay in Florence. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants a short trip to areas outside of Florence. It would be nice if the tour was longer and included more than one vineyard.

Doing what: Chianti Region Wine Tasting Half-Day Trip from Florence
This tour was one of our favourite through our 5 week European trip. The only thing was that we felt a bit rushed through the tour of the castle. Other then that we would definitely would recommend it to others travelling through the Chianti region.
