Ciao from Florence!

It’s more than one year that we are waiting for this moment…now it seems that we are really close to that! I’m talking about a dream that is becoming true, a unique museum card that allows the visitor to admire more than 30 Florentine museums.

This card is valid for 72 hours, costs about 50 Euro and will give the possibility to visit more than 30 museums, including the world famous Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia, Pitti Palace, and less known but amazing places such as Stibbert Museum, Bardini Museum and so on….

Not only this good news, seems that for the first time part of the amount of the ticket cost will stay in the city of Florence instead of “flying” towards Rome cashiers, so this money can be used to finish the huge work of “Big Uffizi” with the Isozaki Loggia and the possibility to expand the museum to host exhibitions and never-seen paintings waiting in the storage, and to keep clean the areas just outside of the museums (the worst example is the parade of bubble gum sticked with no reason on the wall of the Accademia from bored tourists in line…..) and to keep open museums not very crowded that risk the closure like the Viessieux Club, Galileo Galilei Museum, National Library…..

So stay tuned, soon the Museum Card will be a real thing!
