All the same like on my former comment (about tour in Rio)!
Execellent, totally recommend it to anyone but be prepared with clothes etc!
Enjoyed very much. Fun Guide Marco. Still trying to process all that I saw! Beautiful
I really enjoyed the rafting! It wasnt as scary as I thought it would be, and I got to swim in the water too.
What an amazing day, sadly almost ruined by our tour guide.
The price is right for the trouble of going several times through emigration in both Brasil and Argentina, but once you get to the park get separated from the group if you want to visit everything. If you stay with the group you will only see the Garganta and the Upper track, while the best views are from the Lower track. When we wanted to see the Lower track, the guide told us that it is lunch time and almost forced us into a restaurant for 1hour (maybe to ensure his commission). Similarly the tour begins with a 30min stop at a souvenir shop/exchange office.
Marcos was an excellent guide! He is funny and knowledgeable (and is an avid bird watcher!). The tour is very well-organized. Marcos managed to squeeze in the boat ride we requested, even when we are the only people in the group who wanted a boat ride.
Being highly efficient, we spent minimal time on border crossing and Marcos got us passed the crowd to be the FIRST group to enter the park. Seeing the majestic view of Iguazu minus the crowd was truly spectacular.
Hotel pick up and drop off is included. Although the drop off is supposed to be for the Brazilian side, Marcos was so nice he actually dropped us off right at our hotel on the Argentinian side without extra charge. Thanks to Marcos we had a truly wonderful visit :)
Excellent tour; worth going to as you get up close and personal with all the falls and the walking isn't too challenging as everything has nice even walkways with some stairs. Make sure to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. They took 170 Argentinian Pesos for each person, not Reals for the entrance fee. They didn't even need our Argentinian Reciprocity visas as we got through really fast. When you arrive in Brazil, customs gives you an immigration paper to fill out which you keep along the way. You need this paper when crossing over to Argentina. This paper and your passport is all you need plus the pesos.
The tour itself is great. However, we have trouble to get the Argentina Visa. I'm not good at computer and the agent there are not helpful at all. They took me to different places to use the computer and asked me to do myself . I tried many different way and finally I got it done . The tour left as they cannot wait for us. The good thing is they arrange a private tour for us without extra charges. The tour is great . The falls are amazing.
An excellent tour - pilot ensured both sides of the aircraft were given viewing access to the falls scene by turning and flying back in the opposite direction on two occasions.
Doing what: Iguassu Falls Panoramic Helicopter Flight
All in all an awesome trip nobody should miss! Well organized with very good English speaking guide. Would be a 5-star rating, but there has been two flaws:
- the price only includes the transfer and the guide, not the entry tickets for the National Park, which can only be purchased by changing Argentinian Pesos expensively beforehand (no credit cards)
- the same tour is cheaper if booked locally in the hotel, where a complete package including the entries can be purchased with a creditcard
It was somehow expected but still absolutely thrilling experience. Hard to reccommend , which time of the day is the best, but prepare for some lines at the site anyway. After lift-off you will have 10 minutes with superb views. They try to sell you DVD after this whole thing, worth those dollars, as this contains more than just your own trip video. Try to get to first row- they prefer women, though:)

Pick up was without any problem. First we were brought to a big tourist souvenir shop in Foz do Iguacu, where you could buy some souvenirs, gemstones or just some water for the trip (which was supposed to be much more expensive in the Argentinian side of the national park). Main reason for the stop was to change some money for the park entrance, as they only accept cash in argentinian Peso. So we changed some brasilian reais into the according peso amount for entrance before we continued the trip.
Crossing the boarder to Argentina was easy, the tour guide took care of everything, handed the passport to immigration officers while the group was waiting in the bus.
After entering the nation park the tour guide showed us the areas which we were going to visit. First we took the train to the devils throat station, where we walked amongst hundreds of other visitors after we had to wait for more than half an hour for the next train which got us there. The devils throat itself was amazing. Only the mass of other people on the viewing platform were a bit annoying, but anyway we had enough time to enjoy the views and take photos before going back on the train to visit the upper trail where we could walk over and between the falls. All in all the Iguacu falls were really amazing, one of the best natural world wonders I've experienced in my life. Definitely worth going!
Before going back home we had lunch at a horrible restaurant were we were brought to. This was on own expenses (they've accepted credit cards), just mass feeding of tourists and the food was not good at all. Next time I would not recommend going there and skip this lunch part of the tour (which was anyway the last part of the program me before we drove back to Brazil).
Normally you don't need a tour guide there once you're in the park and c, but when coming from Brazil it's handy to get the transport and administrational stuff (like money changing, boarder crossing) organized by the tour operator.
I booked this tour for Dec 11 at 8:00am. This tour should be 4 hours. However, they change it to Dec 9 afternoon which after my tour to Iguassu Fall Brazil which is next to this park. They drop me off there for one hour which we do not want to do two parks in one day. Our booking for this day afternoon should be a city tour at 2:00 pm. The bird park is great but is not worth for my money paid as this tour should be include round trip transfer from hotel and is four hours instead of dropping us off there for one hour.
This tour should be three hours and they only do for two hours and they did not bring us to the shopping stores . They did not bring us to see the church but they took us to see a temple. May be because they only have two of us but that should not be the reason for not doing it completely. The guide is OK with good English.
