we really enjoyed this tour. it rained quite a bit on the tour but we still enjoyed it. great tour guide. we learned a lot of the Paris history.

Rose, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and fun. Pace of the tour was perfect, and I appreciated that her first language was English so that she was very easy to understand. Although we didn't go into any buildings, her stories were great, and we had a better sense of which museums and sights we wanted to visit in more detail. A great introduction to the history of the Revolution.

We had taken a free walking tour earlier which covered much of what we were told on this tour, however the guide on the free tour was lively, entertaining and interesting. I had the feeling the guide on this tour was simply going through the motions. I have given it 3 stars because for us the tour 'joined all the dots' on the sites we had seen.

This tour had some good moments, such as visiting Place de la Concorde, however it would have been nice to enter Musée de l'Armee and see Napoleon's tomb.

The walking tour was a nice way to see some of the historical sites (either still standing or where they were) around Paris with great information to actually appreciate them even more. Good price/value in my opinion.
