We all know that artists love wine, but last summer in Bordeaux wine loved the artists right back. The Artist Castle program matched professional artists with the patronage of wine producers. The resulting works were exhibited free in the chateau of the patrons, reflecting the diversity of wine, architecture and landscape through the artworks created for the program. Invitation to art and wine events were extended to visitors, in a series of intimate “EXPérience” evenings to discover places where the art and wine are produced.
