If you want to go to the Palace of Versailles this is the best way to do it! The lines to get into the Palace have to be seen to be believed! I have no idea how long it would take to get in if you just turned up- it looked like many hours. On this tour you could simply hop off train walk across the road to the tour operators office and they walk you down to the Palace where the very knowledgeable guide firstly takes you around the extensive gardens to show you how to get around them and explains the history before she takes you inside the Palace and again provided an excellent historical run down of the palace. After about four hours the guide then leaves you to do your own exploring in the afternoon, which was fine for us as there were so much to explore we were happy to do that by ourselves. Highly recommend.

The best part of our Paris visit by far! Seeing the gardens on bicycle, and the picnic lunch were highlights!! What a wonderful way to spend the day.

Great excursion from Paris. Fredric our driver was very good. Spoke great English and was very informative. We toured at our leisure with an audio set and then met Fredric again right outside. I would definitely recommend.

Well worth of the price of the tour and we got to see and listen to our guide tell us so much more than the rest of the people that just viewed the museum. Before heading to the grounds, we stopped at a nice market and bought our luch meats, breads, fruits, and wine. It was a beautiful ride through Versailles and the lunch on the lawn was awesome.

All I have to say is Wow!! This was a fantastic day! Our tour guide was amazing and you can tell he enjoys his job. The market was something, I loved it. Having our picnic lunch on the grounds with the view of the palace was so romantic, and the palace itself is just breathtaking. What a great way to do a tour....by bike!! A must!!

John, our guide, was informative and funny. He shared his knowledge of Paris and Versailles with the 8 of us. He was able to answer and recommend sites for our visit. It was really nice not having to take public transportation. The tour could be a little longer.

Absolutely everything we wanted. We were taken care of in spite of the "protests" in the city and kept safe without affecting the enjoyment of the tour. Very well done both in Paris and especially the tour guide in Versailles. She was wonderful and made the experience very interesting!

Even though the weather was uncharacteristic for May (cold, very rainy) the trip was a huge success and extremely fun. Our tour guide, Andre, was extremely nice, knowledgable, and fun. I was traveling by myself and it was very easy to make friends with everyone else on the tour. Despite the rain I had a great time and adventure. You get to see much more than if you were to go by foot and it is a great value as well.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, articulate in English, and made history and the Museum come alive. I would recommend the tour as the only way to do to visit the Versailles.

Fantastic! The guide was so informative and made the whole tour fun, interacting with us all. The guide we had at Versailles was wonderful and the depth of the tour unbelievable. We have been to Versailles before and didn't even know these private apartments, opera theatre and chapel existed. We loved every moment.

We were transported on a spacious double-decker tour bus to Giverny Gardens first. The English-speaking guide was kind and courteous throughout. After we were treated to a nice lunch at a quaint hotel/restaurant nearby with a picturesque water mill. Lastly we were transported to Chateau Versailles where again our guide took us on a tour of the main attractions of the palace. After we were free to roam the gardens outside for a bit before being collected and taken back to our point of origin at Cityrama offices in London near the Tuileries Gardens. This tour is perfect if you don't want to bother organizing transport outside Paris to see the gardens and the chateau.
