Great half-day trip from Frankfurt. It is perfect if you want to see Heidelberg but don't have an entire day to spend. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and efficient.

Outstanding tour. Our guide, Natalie, was well informed and was very much engaged with the tour. She seemed to enjoy carrying us around, which helped us enjoy it more. And she did not limit her discussion of just the sights and sounds of Heidelberg, but pointed out interesting sites along the route to and from there, as well as pointing out significant things once we returned to Frankfurt. Heidelberg is a dream. I see why so many people call it a must-see on any trip to Germany. Loved the castle, the wine barrell and the view from the bridge. Natalie pointed out several different spots we could check out on our own -- or not -- and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own, buy souvenirs or grab a tasty pastry. All in all, a great experience.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on this tour. The stops are lovely and the hotels very clean and comfortable. The time allotted to each place is perfect!

Enjoyed the tour. Would have liked more time in the town itself. Could have had less time at the castle. Also, had I known lunch was going to be provided on the bus, then I wouldn't have used my time in the town for lunch and would have walked around more. Tour guide was very nice.

The visit to Heidelberg was great. This little town sells itself with its history and beautiful setting. The bus ride was pleasant and overall I thought the tour to be well balanced. Not too much, not too little, just right, like the porridge in the three bears story.

Good day trip. Great scenery. Didn't really care for the ice wine tasting.

The morning trip to Heidelberg started not too early and the starting point was easy to find. Our guide was quite experienced and didn't talk too much also! Saw almost all of everything but of course it is a 4 and 1/2 hour tour and we couldn't stay too long in any place
The afternoon tour to the Rhine Valley was interrupted by late Friday afternoon peak hour traffic but we managed to get to the ferry on time after a bit of F1 style of driving. Magnificent views even through the occasional rain downpour so don't worry about rain. The dinner included was quite plain but I was hungry by then and ate it without complaint although.. I would suggest that the Wiener Schnitzel is not worth the extra money if it is offered to you. Recommended otherwise.

Definitely worth doing this tour. Natalie, our tour guide was very good, funny and informative. Very good getting us right up to the castle and the old part of the city, so age is not a concern on this tour. Did cost me 2 euros to find a WC before the trip back to Frankfurt, so do not drink to much coffee or beer on the trip.

Meeting spot sort of difficult to find. Once on the tour our guide was excellent, she was very funny and full of information about not only Heidelberg but Frankfurt as well.

Our guide was very informative and responded well to questions put to him. It was a very cold day and our time outside was somewhat curtailed, but the trip was very worthwhile.

It was a great tour and a lovely way to see some more of Germany outside of Frankfurt.

We thought a cruise up the Rhine would be magical, however when we went the waters along the Rhine were at flood level. The cruise on the water itself was not as interesting or as fun as the bus driver who took us to the dock and the restaurant for lunch on the way. He was funny and shared a lot of information on Germany and the areas within. Lunch was good but we were not impressed with the "wine tasting" after. Glad we only did the half day trip!
