had a lovely time here, its a beautiful little place. would reccommend

Hotels were good. Tour office at Frankfurt and one bus driver were less friendly. Another driver did not speak English and lazy, as a result we missed a bus station in Augsburg my wife and I had to walk a long distance to the Intercity Hotel at Central train station. On the next day departing Augsburg, bus was late 45 minutes I called Frankfurt tour office and bus driver was not happy that I called the office. Overall tour expenience was good. We are planning Canada Rockies and Alaska Cruise next year, do you have any proposals? Thanks.

Doing what: Romantic Road, Rothenburg and Harburg Day Tour from Munich

Excellent tours. Don't be late for the final departure. As the guide indicated, our departure time is 4:15 pm, if you are here at that time "You are a Passenger", if you are late you will be a "Pedestrian", and it will take you several hours to get back to Munich.

This was a great tour. What a great tour guide.

Good trip, very informative guide. I just wish we had more time in Rothemburg. Maybe a full day trip only to Rothemburg would be better. The Harburg Caslte is nice, though,

Doing what: Full Day Tour to Rothenburg

Rothenburg was worth seeing, beautiful!! We were NOT impressed with the driver, he played up to the young Japanese girls, he was rude and abrupt to one of the men on the bus and he didn't head count which resulted in leaving behind an elderly lady. If it was not for a passenger noticing her bag we would have kept driving. As it was we were a mile away and the driver left 2 minutes earlier then he said. The driver tried to blame the lady. So all this was uncomfortable. We did not like the long 4 hour drive there and back as we spent a lot of time picking up and dropping off other people. Over all ok

If you want to see a realistic German old town, this is it. Shops and restaurants. Charming. that's about it.

Doing what: Full Day Tour to Rothenburg

Not worth the money. It was not a direct route. We spent valuable time picking up people and dropping them off at shopping center.Need to have someone else besides a driver to point out the sites;he needed to just concentrate more on the road. Made us nervous. The 20min tour of that one palace w/garden AND toilet stop was ridiculous. The local guide in Rothenburg was excellent.

Sites, route was nice, but there was little time to see some places. Either look out the window or stop for 30 minutes. Also the bus wasn't exclusive in that it transported people vs dedicated to the tour. The 2nd last day dropped off people in Munich and then backtracked to castle site - didn't arrive till 8pm.

Doing what: Full Day Tour to Rothenburg

EXPECTED A TOUR GUIDE ON THE COACH INSTEAD ONLY GOT THE BUS DRIVER. BUS WAS DOING NORMAL BUS RUN AS WELL AS THE TOUR - COMMUNICATION AND COMMENTARY WAS POOR BUS DRIVER WAS MORE INTERESTED IN CHATTING UP A GIRL IN THE FRONT SEAT. DROVE PASSED ONE STOP OFF POINT AS PARKING WAS NOT TO HIS LIKING. WOULD NOT BOOK AGAIN.

This was an excellent tour. We had a great tour guide named Ana that gave a wonderful mix of history and more general stories of Bavaria. The Harburg castle tour was very interesting and we enjoyed our afternoon exploring Rothenburg.

At one point, we got caught in a traffic jam for a hour. No problem, they extended tour so we got the full time in Rothenburg. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was a long journey but worth visiting. Harburg is a lovely and quiet castle, Rothenburg is one of the beautiful places we've visited. Despite the number of shops, it is still a quiet and relaxing place...highly recommend!

If you've not been to Rothenburg, you really should go! It's an adorable, charming medieval town with lots of cute shops, places to eat, and great history.. the short tour was very informative, and then you have several hours to explore, eat, and buy goodies on your own. On the way to Rothenburg, you make a stop at Harburg Castle which is very charming as well, with a great little tour of the place. Trip is a nice bus ride (with select beverages and a potty on-board) from Munich. Great value for the money!

Truly a beautiful picturesque trip driving through the small Bavarian towns. The stops had a good amount of time and was able to see everything we wanted. Oh la la Rothenburg...back in time. Anna our tour guide was great. Adele NC

Great tour with sufficient time to explore both Harburg and Rothenburg. Be prepared to do some shopping if your interested in ancient or medieval Europe...and don't forget the camera.
Clean modern coaches and well spoken and helpful guide.
