Doing what: Overnight Frankfurt to Munich - Romantic Road, Rothenburg
Day one was not spent much on the Romantic Road, but the stay in Rothenburg was worth it alone. It is a very nice walled village. Day 2 was nice on the Romantic Road, but our driver was a bit impatient on narrow roads. The coordination of bus, taxi, and hotel was a breeze. The tour ended about 4:30 pm, though, so that threw us off some.

Cool! Neuschwanstein castle is simply a must-see. The hotels Hotels Muller and Spitzweg were fantastic. The medieval town of Rothenburg is incredible. Don't miss the tour by the Nachtwichter! He's a riot and you learn a lot from him too. You'll learn why the word 'salary' comes from 'salt'.

This is an excellent tour, very easy paced. We spent most of the time at leisure, without constantly having to be here then there at certain times. The places were beautiful, the guided tours were great, and the accommodation was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

The tour was great! We had a wonderful time in all of the cities we visited and the hotel employees were very courteous. All of the pick-ups by taxi, bus, etc. were always on schedule. The cities on this tour are beautiful and worth seeing.

The description does not mention it, but this trip goes all the way to Fussen, where you can see Neuschwanstein Castle...and it is a beautiful sight. The bus does not stop at all places on the Romantic Road, but it will stop at the good ones. Overall, a wonderful trip!

The highlight was the organised walking tour of the town. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. The length of time allocated in the town was a bonus.

This trip is a great taste to the Romantic Road. The last day was somewhat of a magical mystery tour as we were unaware that the tour went to Fussen passing Neuschwanstein castle. More detailed itinerary would be helpful.

We loved the bus tour, however it was a bit hurried as we only had 20 minutes at three of our stops. The bus was comfy and the driver offered information along the way. The hotel where we stayed in Rothenburg was a very rustic 16th century and not as comfortable as we would have liked. The Night Watchman tour was a highlight of the trip.

Wonderful trip despite the rain. Hotels were interesting, from the magnificent in Hohenschwangau, to the personal in Rothenburg. The company was very experienced and had interesting guides/drivers. The trip to Heidelburg was by bus not train, which was disappointing.
