Antoinette was terrific. Everything was done right: the tour of the Caille chocolate factory, the lunch at the farm, with fondue we made at the table, the visit to the town of Gruyere, the panoramic train, and the final drink at the restaurant high overlooking Lake Geneva. I highly recommend it.

A picturesque trip travelling from Geneva to Montreux by coach with the lake on one side and countryside on the other. Chillon Castle on the edge of the lake was most interesting. The Christmas Markets were busy and fun.

Excursion wasn't so interesting as we expected. Also guide's english was pretty bad :(

Boat cruise around the lake was nice, but I recommend you to take a little break for lunch or something after bus tour and then go by yourself at boat cruise. Because you can choose any departure time you want.

This tour is perfect for those wanting to see as much of Lake Geneva and it's beautiful towns and villages in a short period of time (9.5 hrs). The pace is enjoyable for those of all ages, which was nice for us (a group with a wide range of ages). Our guide and our driver were both informative and genuine in their interactions with guests. This tour is recommended 100%.

Well done. Most of the city tour was of buildings which are the home offices of UNESCO, UN, etc. Boat trip on lake was fine, not long, but not tons to see either.

It was a choice between this trip and the Gruyeres one but went with this one as the weather was forecast to be better. We had Kim, who comes well rated in other reviews, and who had the perfect balance between giving us good detailed information and leaving us to wander around doing our own thing or just sitting on the minibus (only 5 on our trip). There was a good mix of minibus, exploring the towns / chateau and the boat on the lake. The clouds lifted as the day progressed leaving it cloudless directly over the lake with cloud-kissed mountain tops but also some snowy peaks visible. It was certainly warmer up at the East end of the lake and has given us some wonderful memories and photos. Pricey but worth it if good weather.

This tour was terrible!! Wasn't what was advertised. The tour guide was boring and repetitive. No stopping to let us explore and take photos - they were all taken through the bus window while it was moving, covered in rain. There was a brief drive through the city then a quick mini train ride. The "countryside" part of the tour we'd signed up for was nothing more than a drive to a town about 15 mins out of the city where we had a quick walk in the rain and we were allowed all of 10mins to look at shops to buy souvenirs before hopping on the local ferry (the so-called "boat cruise" on Lake Geneva) to take us back to the city. We were promised audio commentary on the cruise but didn't get it. Once off the ferry we were left to find our own way around instead of being taken back to the starting point of the tour. Waste of time, extremely disappointing and not worth A$93 - a total rip off! The most atrocious tour I've ever done and I'll never go back to Geneva. Not recommended!!!

This tour was great! We went all over the city, first in the tour bus then we switched to a little train and saw the old City. The lake cruise was also brilliant and as it was a clear, sunny day we could see Mont Blanc and the Alps. Magnificent.

Boat tour offers excellent view of the lake, but tour guide sounds like reciting from a book. :o(

Excellent guide, very knowledgeable historically - highly recommend this tour. Really got to see the heart of Lausanne and the "Swiss Riviera" - Montreux esplanade along the lake is great. Plenty of time in the Castle - very worth while

The best tour in Switzerland! It is a must! The cheese tasting and wine was excellent and we had plenty of time to enjoy it. The tour guide took us to a very nice bar with a panoramic view of Lake Geneva. Really enjoyed the chocolate tasting as well...but that could be extended a bit longer....I only felt a bit rushed with our chocolate tasting and visit to the factory. Although the day was so much fun and highly recommended! The tour guide was wonderful.

I went to Lake Geneva in late fall and it was gorgeous. Walking around the lake is very peaceful, especially if you wander just a bit away from the towns and in fall the tree foliage is spectacular. I also loved Chillon Castle, which sits right on the lake near Montreux.

Trip was resceduled because of the volcano. They honored our originbal voucher. Guide was knowlegeable. Only negative was that it was raining which meant we did not have good views of the Alps across the lake.

This tour takes you outside of Geneva, into a few lake-side smaller cute cities. Very beautiful. We unfortunately got a young less experienced tour guide who remained mostly silent during the drives to each of the cities and provided only the bare born information.
