This tour was a gift that I gave to my mother and sister and they told me that it was very good and they enjoyed their trip around Geneva, thank you.
Good overview of Geneva. Although there is a lot of this is the headquarters of.....Had a good knowledgeable guide.
It was very interesting to see the HQ of so many world organisations; we would not have been able to do this on foot. As far as the history of the old town goes I would have liked more stories of the famous individuals involved in founding the city, and more information about the city's main industried today. The commentary was lacking depth and warmth. In the end we didn't feel connected to Geneva.
The tour was very disappointing: the bus was filled with 50 people and a screaming kid. I was told that only 20 people would be on the bus. It was very warm in the bus and the dirty windows prevented us from taking good pictures.Listening to info in 3 languages
was very annoying. The mini train was extremely uncomfortable and hot with the smell of exhaust surrounding us. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Waste of money and time!
Good tour to get your bearings with. Unfortunately an extremely rude Indian traveller ruined the tour for most of us by loudly talking on his mobile so that we were unable to hear the commentary !!!
Fairly quiet when we went. It was so beautiful though, you can walk right up to it and feel the water spray.
It was boring especially when the tour guide did not seem like he was enjoying his job. But when you don't have much time in Geneva, it is worth doing at least you learn where the important organisations are located.
A great way to start your trip to Geneva and see some of the main sites. However it would have been nice to get off the bus more especially around the UN. The street train journey was cute.
The tour was very informative, well organized, and lead by a very knowledgeable guide. We took the tour on the day we arrived in Geneva; it was a good introduction to the city.
