Doing what: Day Trip to Lausanne, Montreux and Château de Chillon
Despite the rain, the tour was great. The guide was knowledgable and fun. The Chateau de Chillon was definitely the highlight but the Lausanne Cathedral was a close second! I made many new friends from all over the world on this tour.

Awesome trip. Beautiful outlook. Don't judge the weather by what it looks like in geneva. We left drizzly Geneva but had a perfect day in the alps. Skip the lunch option and do your own thing. The restaurant was just OK and some others didn't finish their meals.

Doing what: Geneva City Tour
The City tour was a great way to see and learn about the major world organizations based in Geneva. The mini train into Old Town worked well to give us an overview of what we wanted to return to. I would have liked to be able to depart the tour in Old Town rather than go back down the hill to the fountain and then back to the bus station. Good value if you take it upon arriving in the city.

Our Guide Neil, very informative of area. Would be nice to check if train going before booking this trip as it was not in service when we took ours... money refunded though! Had a great time even if we couldn't see the mountains due to snow storm!! Was a lot of fun!!

This was a good tour. The tour guide was very good and the old town is a very nice walk. This really improved our opinion of Geneva.

Doing what: Day Trip to Gruyères including Golden Panoramic Express Train
Our guide Maggie was very entertaining and full of information, she had us giggling a few times with little personal tales. The scenery was beautiful but the train ride was not as good as I thought, it really depends on which side of the train you sit on as to the best view. The chocolate factory visit was great...so much tasting, Gruyeres was beautiful and the lunch great. I would recommend it.

Doing what: Day Trip to Gruyères including Golden Panoramic Express Train
Will recommend this trip as it comprises of chocolate factory and cheese factory which is fun and interesting. For the GoldenLine train ride, though the day we were traveling, the weather is foggy but I feel the section of the train ride does not had very scenic views. Maybe can start the ride from another part which has more scenic views.

The Chamonix and Mont Blanc tour was even more than expected. Just beautiful. We recomend this excursion. I wish we could have had the time to stay in Chamonix a couple of days.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.
The only minor downfall was I became unwell with altitude sickness.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
Left the “Gare Routiere” in a double-decker bus (combining tours with public transportation) a little after 8:30 AM. Got to Chamonix after 10, directly to the cable car for Aiguille du Midi, took the cable car up – around 90 minutes to explore (counting two cable cars each way). Down to the city, then walk for lunch at 12:45 (good restaurant, you pre-order on the bus: 4 options for appetizer/entrée, 3 for dessert).
At 1:45 PM walk to the railway to Montenvers, you have then there almost one hour – enough time to go (by yourself) to the Mer du Glace (the cable day-pass covers this too, plus 380 stairs each way).
Bus left back from the Chamonix rail station at 16:45; don’t be late: presumably due to the public transportation part it won’t wait for you. No extra charge for anything; on the bus there were people with very different selections – probably buying directly from the local operator (KeyTours.ch): they were offered upgrades at (presumably) lower prices. It might be worth considering this if able to better plan for it. Viator had this trip only with lunch, Expedia with/out lunch – picked Viator with a 7% coupon and it became a little less than Expedia no-lunch.
Great guide: Neil.
