Expensive, but loved it! Great experience for those of us from the south. The village of Chamonix was beautiful and being in the summer it was great with no crowds. It was actually hot down in the village, but that really changed once you got up there at the peak. Up there it was just breathtakingly beautiful and well worth it! Plenty of time is allotted for you to wander at your own pace. Lunch was ok for our standards (we are picky eaters and our standards are high), but good for being included in the tour. That also took away the pressure of getting something to eat in whatever limited time frame a tour provides in an unfamiliar territory. The only disappointment was that the glacier was closed and we didn't get so see it (but it was due to an avalanche).

Chamonix and Mont Blanc are great natural beauties. I was disappointed with the travel guide. The travel guide did not use the microphone on the way to Chamonix as they had other travellers travelling from the Geneva airport to Chamonix and they were not on the tour. So it was hard to hear him. In any case, he did not explain enough about the sites we were visting and he did not accompany us on any of the cable car or train tours. It was basically a bus trip with lunch included, so was not value for money.

Absolutely brilliant tour!! The guide (Maggie) was fantastic. I had three busy days in Geneva doing tours, and this tour was by far the best one. I never noticed how long the day was, as there was plenty to do and see. A+++!

Probably could have done the food on my own, but aside from that it was worth every penny. The view from the mountain top was AMAZING, one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The town was so cute, the glacier was also amazing to see and the train ride made for a fun expereince.

Fantastic overall! Great chocolate tour/tasting. Would have liked to see cheese-making process; fun tastey stop for fondu; not enough time in village; nice train ride and scenery; excellent tour guide.

We set off right on time. Our guide Neil was very informative he explained everything very clearly and the itinery went like cloclwork. The scenery ws magnificent and it will be a day we will always remember. The coach driver was first class. I usually suffer with travel sickness but did not have any problems. Well done to all concerned.

It was a choice between this trip and the Gruyeres one but went with this one as the weather was forecast to be better. We had Kim, who comes well rated in other reviews, and who had the perfect balance between giving us good detailed information and leaving us to wander around doing our own thing or just sitting on the minibus (only 5 on our trip). There was a good mix of minibus, exploring the towns / chateau and the boat on the lake. The clouds lifted as the day progressed leaving it cloudless directly over the lake with cloud-kissed mountain tops but also some snowy peaks visible. It was certainly warmer up at the East end of the lake and has given us some wonderful memories and photos. Pricey but worth it if good weather.

Great, unforgetable - and will cherish it. Tour leeader was excellent, very well knowledge of the places which are visited, as well as city, villages and road which we are passing by. Scenery was fantastic..

Awesome trip in the nice day, beautiful view... but with a huge crowd :( Lunch arrangement was a disaster. Three of us were forgotten by the tour guide at meeting point, and we had find our way to the restaurant... I know the tour guide tried his best to manage nearly 90 people on the way, but still... The drama could be avoided by better planning and prioritizing

lovely and breath taking.. A must see for everyone.. The only thing is that the schedule of the day was very tight and we were running from site to site in chamonix to keep on time. Older People or those with lack of physique my find it kind of hard to keep track. Otherwise it was really a breathtaking experience and the guides were doing their very best to keep us all happy especially sweet KIM :))
