Doing what: Day Trip to Gruyères including Golden Panoramic Express Train
Will recommend this trip as it comprises of chocolate factory and cheese factory which is fun and interesting. For the GoldenLine train ride, though the day we were traveling, the weather is foggy but I feel the section of the train ride does not had very scenic views. Maybe can start the ride from another part which has more scenic views.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
The Chamonix and Mont Blanc tour was even more than expected. Just beautiful. We recomend this excursion. I wish we could have had the time to stay in Chamonix a couple of days.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.
The only minor downfall was I became unwell with altitude sickness.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
Left the “Gare Routiere” in a double-decker bus (combining tours with public transportation) a little after 8:30 AM. Got to Chamonix after 10, directly to the cable car for Aiguille du Midi, took the cable car up – around 90 minutes to explore (counting two cable cars each way). Down to the city, then walk for lunch at 12:45 (good restaurant, you pre-order on the bus: 4 options for appetizer/entrée, 3 for dessert).
At 1:45 PM walk to the railway to Montenvers, you have then there almost one hour – enough time to go (by yourself) to the Mer du Glace (the cable day-pass covers this too, plus 380 stairs each way).
Bus left back from the Chamonix rail station at 16:45; don’t be late: presumably due to the public transportation part it won’t wait for you. No extra charge for anything; on the bus there were people with very different selections – probably buying directly from the local operator (KeyTours.ch): they were offered upgrades at (presumably) lower prices. It might be worth considering this if able to better plan for it. Viator had this trip only with lunch, Expedia with/out lunch – picked Viator with a 7% coupon and it became a little less than Expedia no-lunch.
Great guide: Neil.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
Chamonix is a sweet little tourist town in a valley surrounded by awesome mountains. The gondola ride to view Mt. Blanc is a thrill. Then at the top there is an elevator to give you the last 200 or 300 feet of elevation and an unbelievable viewing platform. Then take the cog wheel to view the glacier. This is a triple E ticket.

Doing what: Day Trip to Gruyères including Golden Panoramic Express Train
Very nice excursion. Good value for the money spent. A litle less time at the "cheese factory" and a little more time at Gruyeres or at vineyard would be my recommendation.

Excellent, started on time. Neil is very nice person and explains everything. Nicely arranged. Food is not that good. Recommend not to include lunch in tour, coz u will get choices there.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
I would of given this trip a 5 star if not for fact that there was not enough time and enough information about taking jackets because it is freezing cold at the top of the lift. We had to buy jackets it was so cold, but no regrets. There was also confusion about where/ who to meet at the bus station.

The tour guide did not speak good english (although she did speak Japanese). She did not give us much of a tour at all, rather she sheparded us to the different spots.I didn't know that lunch was not required. Other people had bought tickets that did not include lunch, for far less money. I wish that could be an option online.

Doing what: Chamonix and Mont Blanc
I didn't realize there were options on the tour. I would have eaten my own meal instead of the one supplied. Going up to see Mt Blanc was teriffic but we didn't have time to visit the museum there. We had seen a glacier ice cave before on the trip and with 400 steps up and down we didn't go to the ice cave, only went up the mountain. Could have spent this time seeing Chomnix. Bus was well run.
