Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
The attraction was very sad and old looking. Many of the pens were empty and the ones that had some sightseeing were very scarce. Plus the 2 main attractions were the lorikeets bird feeding werre on very early AM which we missed and the afternoon PM, feeding was too late so we missed this as well. Our tour rating 1

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary: Green Challenge Zipline Canopy Tour
We thoroughly enjoyed the zipline challenge. It certainly got the adrenalin pumping, and i discovered muscles I hadn't used in years! My favourite was the tarzan rope swing. Am going to get fitter and stronger so next time I can try the black challenge.

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
We always love going to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary when we visit Australia, you can get quite up close with a few of the native animals via the shows and also the photo areas. It was also brilliant being able to get a better rate via VIATOR.

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Entering at child price is a steal, the sanctuary is decent enough, but the highlight is the Green Challenge which is well worth the money.

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
The price through viator was cheaper than at the front counter. Viator price includes the green challenge which was a great experience for those who wish to test their agility and overcome their fear of height. Currumbin wildlife also offer a close up experience with the animals such as the kangaroos, ostrich and take photos with koala bears.

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
It is an interesting and educational visit of the sanctuary. The staff are friendly and helpful to the visitors. I will recommend this place to my friends when they visit gold coast in Australia

Doing what: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
you've got to be at the right place, right time for things like this- a peacock to cross your path, nearly all the koalas to be awake and feeding, the wombats to be moving around and not huddled in the logs, the emu to be in the mood for you to do a close-up pic, ...
that's only something that being at the right place, right time can do- not pre-planned shows, not anything, not anyone. :)

We visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary last year and found the whole experience excellent. I thought it was much better than Dubbo Plains Zoo which I visited last month. Well done Currumbin for allowing public access to the animals as they roam freely through the grounds.

I took three children of different ages on the night tour , and it was the best on the gold coast , all kids enjoyed it and learnt sooo much about native animals and the australian way , they fed kangaroos, they cuddled koalas and many more great things , we watched aboridginal dance and had photos taken with them , they give you tea first ( a great B,B,Q,) then they take you on a tour ( fantastic ) we all loved it ,, well worth the time and money . I thourally recomend it .. to all of all ages , well done currumbin .
