Doing what: Australia Zoo by Croc Express Coach
We enjoyed our day at the zoo - all went according to plan except we weren't aware that the bus that took us to the Transit Centre picked up at the rear of the Marriott, not the front where we were waiting. The bus driver phoned me which was good.

Doing what: Half-Day Whale Watching and Canal Cruise from the Gold Coast
Extremely informative. Although the whales weren't doing particularly photogenic stuff, we did get some good sights and it was rather impressive. The guide was knowledgeable and the free tea was nice.
The departure point was easy to find and we enjoyed learning about the owners of the expensive houses on the waterfront as we passed them.
The tour offered good value for money; after all, I booked it because it was the cheapest one I could find, and upon booking, the US-based call centre operator (we did a next-day booking) was really friendly, great to deal with. The option to pay in either AUD and GBP was a nice touch too.
Literally, the only negative thing I can think of is that the skipper opined that global warming was a myth. Overall, an extremely good experience and I would recommend to friends and family and readers here.

Doing what: Dreamworld and WhiteWater World Gold Coast - World Pass
This ticket allowed us to do both parks on the same day. As it was off peak this meant we were able to fit everything into one visit for a discounted price.

Doing what: Half-Day Whale Watching and Canal Cruise from the Gold Coast
Rough weather and seas, but the trip was okay. Saw plenty of whale activity, a couple of breaches, tails, awesome. I'd do it again at the $76 price, wouldn't do it again for $90 odd.

Doing what: Gold Coast Airport and Theme Park Travel Pass
Airport pick up to hotel and theme park pick up was fine. The return trip for pick up from theme park and airport transfer from hotel did not occur. We had to make our own way back to the hotel, and if we waited for the driver who was running 45mins late we would of missed out flight home. Public Transport easier and cheaper.

Doing what: Half-Day Whale Watching and Canal Cruise from the Gold Coast
super relaxing looking at the deep blue seas and blue bodies of the humpbacks. on the previous day, the orator-on-board mentioned 7 sightings. we had endless sightings you would never believe whales are facing extinction, plus, 2 breach (whale jumped COMPLETELY) out of the water.

Doing what: Australia Zoo by Croc Express Coach
The Australia Zoo was a 'must do' experiance for us while we were in Brisbane and we enjoyed our day there. We found the cost of the trip to be expensive but as it was a one time only visit decided that we had to do it.

Doing what: Tangalooma Resort Moreton Island Day Cruise with Optional Dolphin Feeding
It was nice day trip however you have to book ur accommodation if you would like to do the dolphin feeding! Also food and drink is really expensive there so you need to bring your own food!!

We had a great time at the Zoo which was just great. The driver did a great job as well. A perfect day in Brisbane.
