This was spoilt because the tour guide got off before we readhed the park and we weren't told what to do and where to go when we arrived there, howver, the park itself was a very good attraction.

The park is definitely worth visiting- even though it's quite tiring if you do the excursion departing from Gran Canary- had to leave our hotel at 6am, arrived in Tenerife at 10.30 and went up the mountains on the bus - the volcano is magnificent- and then straight to Loro Park. You have no time to see any landscapes by the beach. We were back to our hotel at 11pm (we stayed in Puerto Rico which is quite far from the port). The only disappointing thing is that you have to call a local organizer 2 days before the trip to verify the pick up time from the hotel- in our case no one answered the phone and I had to call the central offices in USA- finally it appeared that on the day we had booked to go, there was only a German group going, so we ended up going with them and a German guide. He was great but we barely understood what he was saying ! But I would recommend going for the great orka, dolphin and sea lion shows.

Good day out especially if you have children but interesting even without. However it does get very hot as you would expect and it is on a hillside which means it is hard work walking up and down hills all day but on balance well worth it.

An amazing experience, to say the least. We went from Gran Canaria, so the trip to Loro Park, Tenerife bus, ferry, bus and back was a bit too much. But all worth it when you see the sea lions, dolphins & orcas do those amazing things. Definitely recommended for everyone going to the Canary Islands.

Good place for the kids. Loved the animal shows, and the exhibits. All very well done. Definitely a good choice whilst visiting Tenerife.

The best part is the penguin exhibit.

Some reviewers love this place, but I've seen much better zoos and parks in the United States. There could have been more animal exhibits and the private tour could consist of more. The time lines hardly gave us enough time to see the shows and get the private tour. We had to skip a sea lion show just to have enough time to eat.
