A good day out. Lucky we went with an organised trip, otherwise there was no guarantee of entry to Alhambra, or we would have had to wait for hours outside. With pre-booking we were allowed to enter soon after arrival. The lady guide on the bus was excellent as was the guide around Alhambra. Plenty of stops for refreshments and toilets.

Our guide simply walked us through the rooms, commenting on the view and where we could take photos. She did not seem to know anything about the Alhambra or even take an interest in it. At one point, she was texting on her phone, and when my husband asked her a question she told him to 'hang on'.

A lot of tourists come to Alhambra and skipping the line was a time-saver. Granada has a lot of gypsies and hills so I wouldn't want to go to Alhambra/Generalife on my own. Guide was great. Definitely worth the money!

We were lucky to be guided by Imaculada for our tour around the Alhambra and Generalife in Granada. The tour was informative and full of little interesting tips and informative titbits. There were four of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot as well.

This was the perfect way to see the Alhambra and get a glimpse of Granada. The local guide at the palace and garden was very knowledgeable and interesting. Finding lunch was a little challenging (more direction from the guide would be appreciated). A lot of walking - be prepared.

First, Clara, our guide was wonderful! She was helpful, nice, spoke very good English, and explained everything perfectly, even when we would sleep during the ride. The ride was pretty comfortable (though long) and the countryside was very pretty. The Alhambra is MUST SEE.

The guide we had, Tarek, was absolutely superb. He was an older man, Spanish I think, with impeccable English and a superb knowledge of Alhambra and Art and History in general. The 3 hours wizzed by.
The organisation for picking us up, however was a bit haphazard and chaotic, hence the 4 stars! We didnt know whether to wait at our hotel, or in the Plaza Neuva. The e-mail telling uswhere and when to meet didnt arrive until after we came back from the trip!!

Alhambra was totally great. We dıdnt see Granada due to rain but it was ok too. My only problem was my seat wıth a very short leg space, and unncessary stops for 1h 45m trıp.

This was a great tour once it started! Getting off the bus and grouped by language groups and size was very confusing and haphazard. But once the tour started, we were very pleased. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous and made sure we were all able to hear him and get our questions answered. I would recommend it readily for anyone wanting to go the Alhambra.

Doing what: Granada City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Nice way to see the city. If you want to go to the Alhambra or the Albayzin book separate tours. They weren´t interested in helping us since we had pre-paid. Didn´t discuss the walking tour of the Albayzin with us as with others, so we missed out on that.

The tour of the Alhambra Palace and gardens was excellent, conducted by a fluent English-speaking expert local guide, Gerardo. However, the day trip itself was let down by poor time-keeping on the part of the tour guide, Eva, which meant a lot of waiting around and a very late return to Malaga.

Expensive but hassle free way to see the Alhambra. The guides were very good and had a tremendous knowledge of their subject. Tip-wear warm clothes if doing off season as sunny but freezing cold.

The Alhambra is so beautiful, well worth a visit! We had an official Alhambra tour guide who was very nice and knowleagble; I was glad I had booked a guided tour rather than go by myself, as everything made a lot more sense with the guide's explanations. The drive from Seville to Granada went relatively fast, as the minibus was very comfty and the host entertained us with interesting stories about the region most of the way. We also stopped on the way at a little shop that had local products and I bought an amazing olive oil! Very recommended!

the staff that gave us the tour knew a lot about the alhambra. Allthought we had a very strong rain, the handled very well the awful weather.

Our tour would rate a 5 except for problem with hotel pickup. We confirmed prior day with office pick-up time and location. The hotel entrance is pedestrian only. We waited where taxi stops r made. After several calls to office no pick-up and an 8Euro frantic taxi ride to Alhambra. ps Gustavo was great!
