Fun and great experience!
Fantastic The coach journey was a necessary evil to get to the grand canyon but ,oh my word it was worth it.
Tour guide/driver was very informative.
Absolutely amazing. The driver was great and the automated information throughout the trip were amazing.
Loved it had a great time ... The only one thing I didn't like was the seating on the bus was not comfortable ... I have been on many Bus Tours but this bus had uncomfortable ... Other then that awesome Tour ... Would do it again...
I'm glad we did the tour. Hoover Dam was pretty awesome, but the Grand Canyon is a must see. Really enjoyed the Jeep tour at the canyon. The bus trip from Las Vegas is very long but worth it.
HAD TROUBLE WITH BUS NOT RUNNING GOOD DRIVER CALL HAD ANOTHER BUS COME TO FIRST STOP WE STOP AT CAME GOT ON NO WAITING ,CONTINUE ON TO GRAND CANNON
I am giving this tour 5 stars because I would not have missed the trip for the world as seeing the grand canyon was something Im glad I did not miss.
However there are a few points I would like to let people know about:
1, We were aware of the early start and the long day start at 6:15 am returned at 10:15 pm but the way the day was built could have been better, when we were first collected from our hotel we were taken to a central point and then told the coaches that we needed to board from this point.
2, On our way down to the Grand Canyon park we only had 2 stops, one at the Hoover dam for about 20 mins the Dam is great by the way and then another stop at a MacDonalds this time but for 30 mins this time. 2 passengers came back about 8 mins late but the driver Eric went up the coach and started to berate the passengers in front of everyone and then said on the P.A system that we should not wind him up as he will berate the passengers who are late.
When we got to the National Park we got into the Jeep tour and our tour guide was brettley he was just great showing us great views all round the canyon.it was a great tour with a great guide. 5/5
3, On the return trip the one and only stop was at a petrol station with a subways inside it, there was no seating in the subways and was for 25 mins only.
4, When we got back to Las Vegas our Driver Eric told us that he would not be dropping us all off at our hotels and a 2nd coach would collect us and drop off at the hotels as required!
Eric made 2 drops and then said over the P.A where he would be dropping off and the other passengers would have to go on the other coach, when he made his final drop at the 2nd coach place some passengers got off and did not give him a tip! so he berated them over the P.A system calling them dots and calling the other driver on his mobile phone to tell him too! We also had a driver learning on our coach called stan, I hope he does not learn too much from Eric.
Very poor driver
The best bus tour we have ever been on !! Well organised with ample stops, great on board entertainment and information. .great lunch with choices. The only way to visit the Grand Canyon!
Long day - 5:45 AM pickup from my downtown hotel, wasn't dropped off at same location until 10:45 PM drop offs took over 1.5 hrs. After the stops Hoover Dam, McDonalds, you don't arrive at the Canyon until the afternoon. The first stop is 1.5 hours at the National Geographic Center, which is basically just a gift shop and cafe. Then we only had 1 hour at each of the viewpoints. It started to pour down rain during the first hour, and continued into the second. Due to all these reasons, the long drive time didn't really feel worth the limited Canyon viewing time. Wish there was less time at lunch, or that schedule could have been swapped to accommodate inclement weather. I would have preferred quiet time on the bus to read or listen to music, but the driver chose to play back to back movies loudly over the sound system. Driver/Guide Ryan was very informative.
The bus tour is too much bus too little tour
This is an extremely long day . The Imax movie was not worth the . Stops at two viewing locations at the south rim were about an hour long each. this was too little time to enjoy the spectaculars views of the Grand Canyon. I suggest eliminating the lunch / imax stop and increase the time at the rim
Overall a good trip. For some reason I thought the Jeep Tour would give us access to areas that a bus cannot access.. like going off-road. This was not the case. The benefit of going on a Jeep Tour is that you're with a smaller group of people, which is better than going with the rest of the larger group on the bus. Be prepared for a lot of travelling.. the time to view the grand canyon seemed rather quick but you have to make the most out of it considering it's a day tour. The Jeep Tour guide was great, personable and took us to various sites to view the Grand Canyon. We managed to stay long enough to see the Grand Canyon at sunset which was beautiful! And I enjoyed the IMAX movie!
A long day! 20 minutes at McDonald's in Kingman for a food stop with 3 other buses there too is not really long enough. Lots of people went unfed. The onboard entertainment and information was good and helped pass the time. Was worth it though as the Grand Canyon was fantastic! Even though it was freezing and had snowed the day before. Two different stops here provided lots of photo opportunities.
overall the trip was good..lunch left much to be desired..tour guide was very good..long trip taking into consideration going to the routing depot etc.
The bus was comfortable. The imax movie was very good. The good stops there as the rest was a let down and I won't be taking it again or recommending it to anyone. It was a 6 hour journey each way and the time spent at the canyon was barely an hour. It was quite rushed. The weather didn't help much as it was cold and raining. But still I would have liked to spend more time there. I had taken the Pink jeep option. The food was okay. The restroom facilities were pretty bad for women. The staff were not very friendly.
Not a great tour... the pick up was over an hour late due to a break down of a bus. We didn't actually go to the hoover dam, just onto a bridge to look down at it. The further we got to the Grand Canyon, the more snowy it got. Therefore our optional jeep tour was cancelled! This wasn't told until we arrived there, no one told us of the weather forecast this must have bee checked before we left. We couldn't see the Grand Canyon due to poor visibility. Only go on this tour in the summer when your chances of seeing the canyon are better.
The actual 3 hours at the Grand Canyon was fun and great picture ops. But the 16.6 hour day long bus ride and the tvs not working was cause for a long day. Food was not what we expected either very cheap meal and for dinner we did not stop at an appropriate place for not eating all day, other than the small lunch provided. We stopped at a gas station with a subway inside. how do 50 people buy a sub in 15 minutes. Honestly I wouldn't recommend the trip.
It was a long day but well worth it. The first views of the Grand Canyon are amazing.
The trip to Grand Canyon was Excellent! Our driver Ryan was Very Informative!
Excellent guide and a beautiful trip.
A really long day, but well worth it.
Took theJeep Tour and it was fantastic. Our Guide Shawn McNaughton was more than we could ever imagine. The best !!!! The bus going and coming was very good, clean and comfortable. The driver was very nice and the whole tour was wonderful.
long day, but totally worth it! the jeep tour is an added extra, but is worth the extra cash!
