great place, great tour. loved it.
Was a great tour, we did the imax cinema and the pink jeep tour which were extras. the jeep tour guide was very good and told us lots of interesting things going round.( can not remember her name).
It was a fabulous day trip to the Grand Canyon. The bus was very comfortable, and the driver very inforrmed of sights along the way. The movies on the bus were an unexpected bonus. Lots of stops for bathrooms and snacks. When we got there, we took an optional upgrade - Pink Jeep Tours. A fabulous trip along the south rim with many stops to get the best views of the south rim. Wonderful guide on that tour too. My only complaint is that the bus driver continuous reminded us to leave him a tip. I definitely recommend these tours and think should be rated 6 stars!
Very good trip.Great experience!
Beautiful! Breathtaking and amazing!
We changed to the West Rim Tour at the last minute. We decided we were only going to be there once, so took the Helicopter and Skywalk options - glad we did, gave you a whole different perspective from the bottom off the Canyon. Our tour bus driver Ziggy was fantastic. West Rim Tour also returned to Las Vegas approximately 3 hours earlier than the South Rim Tour did.
Fabulous value, great views for day trip.
The ride to Grand Canyon and back was quite pleasant. Our driver was very knowledgable and entertaining. The sites were spectacular. We were lucky enough to have a full moon to add on to the splendor.
Negative aspects: 1) taking two buses in the morning (instead of one) and a line in the tour center where they divide people into groups [although, they do it very professionally and quick]; 2) a long bus ride [obviously, not their fault].
Positive sides: the rest. In general, this tour is totally worth to do if you are on a limited budget. The buses are comfortable and the drivers tell you stories and facts about the Grand Canyon and other sights. It should be noticed that they have sense of humor as well. The Hoover Dam stop is a bit too short and you can't walk on the Dam directly but again it is not their fault. One stop in Arizona for eating at McDonalds - not the best choice of course but you can sneak and be quick to get food from around. At the tour center they offer to buy additional stuff like pink jeep and helicopter tour. So it is good if you decided to add it and didn't have a chance to purchase it earlier. If you get it it becomes a bit of mess with changing buses but it somehow works out perfectly. The food [pizza/asian food + water/yogurt/soda + fruits] at the Canyon is provided. Basically, the tour takes the whole day and it is a bit challenging for those who don't like to be on a bus for a long time but, again, they are very professional and responsive. My conclusion is that if you want to get a nice tour to the Grand Canyon for a relatively cheap price, here it is. Recommended!
I would deffinately recommend this trip! The only bad thing was the 5 hours to get there and 5 hours back! We had a great tour guide and had lots of fun! Well worth the money!
Long drive on the bus for very short time in the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend upgrading and adding the Pink Jeep tour for your time in the Grand Canyon. Or, even better, if I could do it again, I would have skipped going through Airbridge and just cantacted Pink Jeep tours to schedule my South Rim tour. Pink Jeep offers much smaller tour groups, and they can go more places within the par than a normal tour group.
It's not special but good enough and reasonable.
The tour was awesome. Excellent driver and comfortable coach. I did not like the pre-tour sales pitch.
the tour guy headed home when the bus returned to vegas, a female driver get on the bus n drive us back to our hotels. However, she spent an hour to go round and round between new york new york n luxor, we passed by new york new york 4 times that night.
This tour was bad right from the beginning. We were given wrong instructions on where we were to be picked up and when we realized, we called and they accused us of getting it wrong rather then the person I spoke to giving me the wrong instructions. That started it all off wrong. When we finally go there, we felt like we were part of a herd of cattle, as we along with our fellow passengers were herded from line to line, and then finally allowed to board our extremely crowded bus. There was absolutely no personal touch on this tour, so if you are looking for that, don't book this one. The trip to the Canyon and back was long and tedious - 4 1/2 hours each way. The only redeeming factor was the videos the driver put on that helped pass the time. We also didn't have a good experience with our driver - she was quite condescending and rude at times. We are from Canada, and she made a note of saying to the whole bus, that Canadians were cheap when it came to the tip at the end of the bus ride. Not the best way to get tips, especially when there were several Canadians on the bus. She also wouldn't let us on the bus at our last stop - it had turned quite cool as the sun was setting and we were all freezing and she refused to open the doors, telling us later that she couldn't because of a park regulation. However, the bus driver for the bus next to us was letting his passengers on, so that explanation did not make sense.
This tour stopped at the Hoover Dam for 15 minutes which is a complete waste of time - you spend the 15 minutes walking to and from the spot where you can see the dam. It would be better to take a separate tour to the dam then do this in our opinion. They should cut this out of their tour. There were other things about this tour we didn't like but I'm running out of the space provided. So we recommend you DO NOT waste your money on this tour. It is less expensive then other tours for a reason.
