Well, Hamburg is beautiful and glad we got to see it but, unfortunately, although the tour guide spoke perfect English to us when we asked her to do some commentary in English, she did very, very little commentary in English - even when we asked her two other times during the bus ride. VERY disappointed, Viator. I am surprised because your tours are usually so good but this one was very lacking!

The guide spoke only German, and not English! We had booked for English guide, but the guide spoke German only so we didn't understand anything. We do not recommend this tour to people who don't speak German.

The bus tour was ok bit it would have better to have had headphones like they do on some other buses. The boat tour of the harbour was very good but the tour of lake alter was a bit boring would have better having a canal tour instead

The Hop On - Hop Off tour bus was great and worthwhile. Te free river cruise that came with it is not to be missed. The lake tour was good but not offered in English like the 12 noon river tour was. All in all, worthwhile.

It was completely in German. There were there different live tour guides. If I understood German better perhaps I would have given it a higher rating. I think the hop on hop off buses with the audio in different languages are better. Live tour guides are hit and miss.

Its better with tour guides, but some guides lack in explaining the facts in the English language. Its also difficult for the guide to explain the facts in 2 different languages because you have driven by the historical site or place to see. (not enough time for them to talk) I have experienced bus tours with headphones (pre-recorded information) in a variety of languages. I really enjoyed the tour of Hamburg, the guides were very helpful and cordial. Thanks sincerely, Brian

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable about Hamburg, He alternated between English and German very well, Since it was raining and cold, I stayed on the bus for two times around. The tour would be even nicer in warmer months when the top and windows are down,

This Hamburg Hop on Hop off are so special, the tour guide so funny and generous. The city is beautiful and absolutely a must to visit.

Horrible experience! There are three bus companies and none are called "Hop-on/Hop-off". It took over 2 hours to finally get on one if the busses where they would accept the Viator voucher. The harbor and lake tours were only in German, so both were a complete waste of money. Don't waste time/money!

English speaking guides are not equal, some good some bad. Great way to see areas that you want to explore further.

The tour encompassed the harbor tour an Alster tour and a city bus tour. Unfortunately during the harbor an city bustour it was raining so much of the enjoyment was washed away.
