Excellent trip, small group in a mini bus, and same group on boat to ourselves.

This is definitely worth a visit, just a shame about the 3.5 hour trip each way on the bumpiest roads in history. Had the good fortune of getting in a row boat and going through the rock formations (additional cost).

Absolutely a fantastic boat. Delicious lunches and dinners. Extensive seafood spread. Very clean amenities and overall was a great treat.
Ha long Bay is amazing and cannot be put into words. It's a must see! Very eager staff, very friendly. You go kayaking, it leaves you speechless. I would have enjoyed more time doing that. Exploring the caves and getting to swim at the man made beach was a nice boat ride away. Climbed up a windy rock staircase to see an overhead view of the bay. Great views. The waters were calm while on the boat. I enjoyed chatting with one of the women you will see selling items on small row boats while in the bay. Booked through Lonely Planet. We were on the boat only 1 night and would have defiantly booked for 2 nights had of we known how much we were enjoying ourselves. Two thumbs up.

Guide arrived at our hotel early which was great. The guide was very knowledgeable but not as sociable. All in all it was a good day out.

Took 4 hours by car to arrive at pier to took ferry. A simple lunch with combination of cucumber salad, seafood, fried meat. Drinks exclusive. The lime rocks are quite fascinating which as you travel along/between, each angle is different and is a different picturesque for photos. Is like a never ending business. After travelling along for few hours, we end up at the Cave with icicles etc which worth watching. Arrived back in Hanoi and hotel around 8pm so you better bring along some snacks with you if you have stomach problems. Other than this, scenery was enjoyable.

Absolutely the highlight of our Vietnam visit. An interesting and passionate guide who answered our many and varied questions not only about Halong Bay but also about Vietnamese life in general. The Bay and karsts are exquisitely beautiful, and the whole area, especially the inner lagoon hold a mystical atmosphere which is quite awesome.

We rode on the lazalee boat, and relative to the other boats I saw in the bay our boat was the newest and cleanest. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, even with the mist it was beyond perfect. Food was good and various and cabins were top notch. Very good choice.

Halong Bay is a definite must see! Our tour guide Named Guong spoke very good english and was the best tour guide we've had in our Vietnam vacation. I can't speak enough of the Halong Bay scenery and the tour guide.

Amazing place worth to be seen.
The mini-bus was new and clean.
We were lucky to get a large boart for only 8 people.

Great tour, small group, we had an amazing time over the Halong Bay. The guide was good, although he didn't speak english so well. Overall it was an amazing tour.

A pleasant and relaxing tour (once you get there) of a unique part of the world. Great to meet and mix with people from all over the world and share the activities involved. This environment needs to be strongly protected.

It was a great day out taking approx 12 hours. The boat ride in Halong Bay was perfect and a seafood meal was supplied. There were only 5 of us on the day trip and we had a boat to ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who doesn't really want to spend 2 or 3 days on a boat looking at the Bay, which I felt we saw most of what needed to be seen in 1 day.

Tour was great. We had the most amazing guide ever who was very helpful. There was only three of us on the tour so we had the boat to ourselves. Very relaxing!! This trip was definitely the highlight of my trip to Vietnam. Thanks.

The tour guide was friendly, accommodating and informative. The food on the boat was exceptional. The only flaw with the trip was the gloomy weather, but, of course, you have no control over that. LOL

Outstanding! It was a long day... Eight hours of driving but well worth it.. The meal which was served on the boat was amazing. Highly recommend!
