The northern Vietnamese city of Hanoi is a beguiling mix of modern and ancient, Asian traditions and colonial legacies. Elegant balconied buildings front tree-lined boulevards, while cyclists and mopeds weave through the city’s narrow backstreets. ...

Best thing we did in Hanoi! The food was devine and San the guide was so full of knowledge. We ate in 5 different places starting with the traditional pork paste baguette from a vendor outside the Market! We would never had tried the street food if we had not done this tour! We ended up on a gorgeous roof top garden for the egg coffee - yum yum. We also saw another side to Hanoi including walking down the railway line and getting some insight to how people live and work in the Old Quarter!! You will not be disappointed!! Thanks San!

We started with a quick look at the food market and then stopped four times for different food in local establishments. It was a delightful experience and there were no ill effects that followed. We recommend this street food walking tour starting at 5 pm and lasting about 2 hours.

Absolutely a fantastic boat. Delicious lunches and dinners. Extensive seafood spread. Very clean amenities and overall was a great treat.
Ha long Bay is amazing and cannot be put into words. It's a must see! Very eager staff, very friendly. You go kayaking, it leaves you speechless. I would have enjoyed more time doing that. Exploring the caves and getting to swim at the man made beach was a nice boat ride away. Climbed up a windy rock staircase to see an overhead view of the bay. Great views. The waters were calm while on the boat. I enjoyed chatting with one of the women you will see selling items on small row boats while in the bay. Booked through Lonely Planet. We were on the boat only 1 night and would have defiantly booked for 2 nights had of we known how much we were enjoying ourselves. Two thumbs up.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Thao was great. We tried foods that we would never have had the confidence to try before, it was great to have a local to make recommendations. We really liked walking through the backstreets around the market area with someone who knew the area well. The view from the cafe over Hoan Kiem Lake at the end of the tour was spectacular. We would have liked more time to take photos etc. Overall great fun and highly recommended.

This was a great tour, we really enjoyed the food and places visited. However, you need to be prepared for lots of fast pace walking in hot temperatures.

We rode on the lazalee boat, and relative to the other boats I saw in the bay our boat was the newest and cleanest. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, even with the mist it was beyond perfect. Food was good and various and cabins were top notch. Very good choice.

Excellent... exactly as advertised, a bit hot (but expected this time of year), plenty of stops if/when needed, definitely got to "see" another side of Hanoi. Highly recommend a bike tour!

A fantastic introduction to Hanoi and my first visit to Vietnam. A walk through the old quarter of Hanoi and a three course meal plus coffee (all in different local eating establishments) was a top learning experience.

A great tour to get an overall picture of Hanoi, the culture of its people and their views on their life and history. The guide was full of knowledge and passed it on admirably.

A pleasant and relaxing tour (once you get there) of a unique part of the world. Great to meet and mix with people from all over the world and share the activities involved. This environment needs to be strongly protected.

Good trip, knowledgeable guide but hard to understand sometimes. Cost a fortune in tips though (you don't have to pay all drivers just the cycle rider but feel you must). The mouseleum was really emotional.

Very enjoyable. The guide took us to places we would not have found ourselves. He was pleasant and interesting. Hanoi is so busy it is helpful to be shown around by a local.

Everything went like clockwork according to the itinerary. The food on the boat was outstanding and there were some very classy touches. Cabin was very comfortable and the shower was piping hot. Weather wasn't ideal in February - very hazy and misty and a bit chilly, but the great organisation more than compensated for the disappointing weather. Very friendly staff and guide. Overall, a great experience.
