Doing what: Oahu Whale Watching Cruise
Our cruise started out with an unbelievable sighting, a mother and her calf breaching! Unfortunately, after that, we spent the remainder of the cruise following the pair and hoping for another breach or that they would come to the surface more. They didn't and when that didn't happen, we ended up just heading back to shore. The cruise line had met their commitment for us to "see whales or get another cruise for free", but I've been on two other whale watches and we continued to look for other whales and saw several more on each of those trips. The other thing about this cruise was that we left and returned in less than two hours, when clearly the website said the cruise would be approximately 2.5 hours in length. I believe we could have traveled further and potentially seen more whales if we had spent the advertised time to do so.

We were very disappointed in the pick up and drop off service. The bus was more than a half hour late even though we were asked to be waiting ten minutes early. On the way back the driver forgot to stop at our hotel, then was ignorant when he had to turn around

Excellent. We saw whales. The company that does this tour was so informative and helped us understand more about the humpbacks in this area. If you are planning a trip to Hawaii this is a must see.

Had an amazing time! Saw so much whale activity and so close to the boat. The staff on the boat really know their shit when it comes to finding whales and whale facts. The whole point of this tour was to see whales and that we did.

Terrific! Captain and naturalist obviously loved their jobs and were as excited as we were to watch a baby humpback learning to breach a couple of hundred yards from our boat. Hana Hou!

People genuine and nice! Great food..yummy! Only saw a few whales splash :( But I know this cannot be controlled. The boat was bigger than I thought. I would have liked a smaller crowd! Thanks...

Fun tour! I def preferred this smaller boat to the Star of Honolulu, which probably had 3x the amt of people aboard. Both boats ended up following the same family of whales. Saw several blows, handful of dorsal fins and 2 or 3 good breaches. Naturalist aboard was informative. Saw what I paid to see!
