Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
That was my third trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This trip, I brought along my two children to this tour and they love it. It was really an open eye trip for them and I knew it they they have enjoyed the tour from starting till the end.
The Tour guide was very good, joyful, friend, helpful and very informative person.
There was a bit of bonus because before we went back to the city, they stopped at a typical Vietnamese home for us to witness the making of rice paper and the owner's pigs sly.. Over all, we love the tour.. Thanks

Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Our guide was simply terrific and extremely informative. We had a wonderful time albeit not the happiest of places to visit given its history. But the trip and the whole Cu Chi Tunnels experience is done in a very honorable way with no bitterness to how the Vietnamese were treated. A truly memorable and humble experience. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Our friendly guide 'Dang' Pronounced Darng picked us up at 7.45am for our 8 am tour. There were 4 other people to collect for our tour, so we got to see through part of Ho Chi Minh City. Dang pointed out the highlights. It took about an hour and a half to reach the tunnels. Our driver Keit was a very experienced driver. The traffic was crazy, but he negotiated the scooters, cars and people expertly. The minivan was lovely and cool with great airconditioning. Dang joked with the guests on the way there. The whole complex for the tunnels was very well set up with good displays and a movie very biased against USA. Everything was prepaid and the only cost was souveniers and cold drinks and gun shooting, which were all optional. There were a total of 4 tunnels that you could go through. A Cu Chi guide took you through the first one. He rushed a bit, and a couple of our group did not like the hot clautrophobic feel and got out half way along. The second tunnel was pitch black and no guide. This was quite an experience - it was easier just to shut your eyes and feel with your hands. The last 2 tunnels were quite mild, but most of the group had had enough by then. Each tunnel only lasted a few minutes. On the way back we stopped optional at a factory for laquerware that was run by victims now third generation of agent orange. The prices were very high, but any purchase was a donation to help the victims. Overall a very professionally run tour with no hassles. Great guide.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip with a humorous fun guide who took good care of us. He was also professional and carried himself well. Everything ran smoothly and on time as well. Don't worry abt the local tour operator, they speak good English and you'll bound to have an enjoyable time! Don't pass on cuchi tunnels when you're in Ho chi Minh. It's totally worth it!

Doing what: Private Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple Full-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Although the itinerary states the Cao Dai Temple is the first stop before lunch and then the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Guide showed great foresight and took us to the Cu Chi Tunnels first to beat the crowds and the heat of the day. we practically had the place to ourselves which was great We then went to the Temple and arrived in time to see the prayer ceremony which was a memorable experience. From here we went to lunch. Make sure you bring your appetite as the food just keeps coming and is delicious. We then made the long trip back to HCMC. A great day and would recommend the tour itinerary be done this way.

Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
We drove to Cu Chi pronounced Gucci, like the handbags! Then went on a tour of the surrounding area, then viewing the tunnels. We went in one of the enlarged tunnels but it was still atmospheric, dark, hot and could be claustrophobic to certain people. We enjoyed it but we had to duck out before the end due to the heat. You were asked by the guide in the tunnels at regular intervals if you were ok and you had the opportunity to get out. When you are down there, you are bending over doubled up and if its hot outside it could effect how long you are down there.

Doing what: Small-Group Day Trip to Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels from Ho Chi Minh City
The timing for the Cao Dai Temple was right. We were able to see the ceremony. Again, our guide, Huy Nguyen, was great.
The Cu Chi tunnel gave an insight into the determination and ingenuity of the Vietcong. It was guerilla warfare at its best.
The downside was the distance we had to travel.
