Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Our tour guide was fantastic. The tunnels are very interesting. Was fun climbing into the tunnel holes and crawling through the tunnels. I read some peoples comments that you could do Cu Chi on your own but I would definitely recommend using a tour guide. There's a lot of information you'd miss out on if you did it alone. Based on the professionalism and friendliness of our guide we ended up booking another tour with the company as well.

Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Cu Chi Tunnels is an experience and eye-opening trip. The guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She ensured that I was comfortable at all times. The information provided by the operators certainly made me understand the situation of the Vietnamese people during those times. The tunnels are somewhat narrow and small, very worthwhile experience. What intrigued me most was the ingenuity of the Vietnamese in the building of these tunnels and the facilities therein. A really enlightening trip to do. I certainly would not hesitate to do it again on my next trip.

Doing what: Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Adventure Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
The tour felt a bit rushed and short, although the location was busy on the day I visited. While the Cu Chi Tunnels story is an amazing one, the site now feels too tourist oriented and felt more like a theme park than an historical experience. Although, that being said, if you have enough time while in Ho Chi Minh City then it is worth going to see, but if time is short enjoy the city and Mekong Delta instead. It would be easier to do this on your own, rather than as a tour if you can arrange the transport.

Doing what: Private Tour: Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple Full-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
The Cu Chi tunnel Tour was well worth the 2 hour drive! It showed us the ingenuity and resilience of the Vietnamese during the war. Cao Dai temple was ok. It was extremely hot when we arrived, but we were there just in time for the noon time worship. Lunch was exquisite! Hefty servings and fresh ingredients! The drinks were not inclusive though. For this long drive, we were glad we had a private vehicle all to ourselves.
