The Full city day tour was not a full day? Presumable as we were a smaller party but couldnt hal feeling a little 'duped'. The guide was terrific and very knowledgebale.
A great way to become familiar with the city. Wonderful guide. Good basic orientation. Thoroughly recommended.
This is a must see tour on your first day! Not just for the highlights taken to but the opportunity to ask lots of questions of your guide to plan the rest of your visit. Our guide, Ming, was absolutely fantastic and gauging by the photos uploaded he is a common guide used - you will really enjoy this tour if lucky enough to have him too. HCM can be quite claustrophobic for children and spouses on the first day, but have a great tour guide really made for a settling in and really enjoyable day. Great food too! Thanks Ming
Great and Duong the guide was so informative. The day was fantastic. Duong took us to a factory that sold beautiful art work. The makers were victims of agent orange and wow their works were out of this world. By supporting this factory brought us closer to the people. They were just wonderful. Really enjoyed the day!!!
Not bad but you could do this by walking around yourself. Not enough time at the war museum. Guide was good and tried to include local experience into the tour as well.
This was a great way to see the main highlights of Ho Chi Minh City in a day. A few points to bear in mind:
- Our tour only took 8 hours and the length will largely depend on the pace you take and what you choose to see
- The lunch was great but its a set meal. There are quite a number of courses so you should find something you like but people with limited scope may struggle
- Although the sights were good Ho Chi Minh is not the most attractive city in the world
- The tour is decent value but bear in mind Vietnam is very cheap compared to the West
Overall its worth doing this tour and our driver and guide were very friendly and helpful.
Brilliant guide, with excellent English and knowledge. A great way to see the sights free from stress!
This tour and our guide were excellent. We were met on the pier as our ship docked and taken to all of the sites promised. We loved the fact that our guide answered all of our questions but didn't have a canned presentation to give. Her English was excellent and easy to understand.
Good value for the money; responsible driver; a tour guide who knew her data on area and was fun; Mekong Delta is well worth a visit if you are in the Ho Chi Minh area; lunch was delicious
Our day tour of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam was fantastic! Our tour guide, Wong, was very informative and spoke excellent English.
This was a wonderful tour that we enjoyed a lot. We would recommend this. Our advice would be to take charge a little more, we spent considerable time at the Pagodas and Chinese Temples, (all really interesting) and much less time at the markets. In hind sight, we should have asked the tour guide to lessen the time at the temples and increase time at the markets. The guide had many skills and asked if we were sure we wanted to go to such places as the war museum and he prepared us for the graphic nature of it ( though, really nothing can prepare you for what we saw) It was very professional of him to ask us though and we were impressed. We spent a whole day and it was great being on a private tour. Lunch was wonderful and included in the price which was great. The tour guide left us alone for lunch which was also nice to have some time to ourselves. We saw a lot and learned a lot, it was a great full day. Very happy :-)
