Cheung Chau Harbour seemed to be always full of small ships and other sea craft, as well as the regular air-conditioned ferries that ply between Cheung Chau and Hong Kong Central.

Part of the tour involves a short "Chinese junk" trip across the typhoon shelter to an island outcrop where the pirates cave is located. Once off the junk, there is a 5-10 minute walk up over a hill to the pirates cave. This is a view from the high-point of that walk.
