Enjoyed the visit to the island and the Buddha, the fishing village was interesting. The luncheon was so so, not worth the money.

Loved this trip, we could have skipped the Ferry ride and just done the cable going and leaving. Also would have loved to have more time at the Giant Buddha place. Our guide was very good.
Good Morning. The Lantau Island Day Trip was fantastic. I enjoyed all the sights. The pick up and drop off service from our hotel was on time and without fault. We both felt that the guide on this day trip was not very in-tune with the tour group as she seemed to be told a dew things then left to our own to find our way. there was confusion by 2 groups of our tour as to meeting points. We eventually found each other, but the guide seem to indicate that it was our misunderstanding and not her lack of her clear instruction, and two different groups could not both get the instructions wrong!!
Otherwise all good.
Overall really enjoyed this trip! It will show you a completely different side to Hong Kong which I certainly didn't expect! Cable care ride was brilliant even though it was quite cloudy
Great trip. Guide very knowledgeable and chilled delivery was great. Views from cable car are amazing.
My husband wished to go to the old boarder to see the changes, so this was good for us, also the temple visit, but not long enough spent here, could have missed the market.
One great day, the tour guide Ryan is an absolute credit to his company. There was nothing he didnt do for our tour group. A great day and well worth the tour.
We went on the Lantau Island and Giant Buddha day trip and had a great experience. Everything was very organized and lived up to their itinerary. The guide was easy to understand and gave us a lot of information. We had perfect weather and the food was delicious. The Giant Buddha was amazing, the monestary beautiful and Tai O village a step back in time. My only disappointment was the tram was closed for maintenance (which was noted before I signed up for the tour). I highly recommend the trip to Lantau and Viator and the tour company.
A good break from the city if you have 3+ days. I enjoyed the meal and hearing about the history of the island. It's pretty relaxing and comprehensive.
Excellent Day! Guide was a local and was full of useful information and facts..English was almost perfect!...Coach was modern and comfortable...Stop at beach wasn't really necessary, however view was OK...Stop of Fishing Village and ride on local boats through Water Stilts House was excellent! Stop at Buddha was good, however was very short and no Photos allowed inside...For a Vegitirian lunch, this was good...some spare time after lunch to walk around monistery etc..Best Photos of Buddha are from here, from a distance...Cable Car wasn't working due to routine maintenance It would have been good if we were advised of this before going, cause this wast he main reason we booked this tour...We were only advised when we received tour voucher waiting for us at hotel with note stappled to back of it...kind of poor communication from operating touring Company..Tour East Hong Kong...However Great Day!
This was a great tour, especially the seeing the Giant Buddha and learning about the origins of Buddhism, very enthralling! Shame the cable car was under maintenance at the time but now that its back on I think it's definitely worth going on this tour! And the vegetarian buffet lunch was lovely!
