This was a great tour conducted by Wendy. We had a very informative tour scattered with stories of real life of both modern day and past Hong Kong. The tour took in all the main sights Victoria Peak and tram, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market, Aberdeen harbour and Junk ride ( An extra but worth it) even the jewellery stop was interesting. Wendy made the tour a pleasure and the coach was clean and comfortable with a good driver. We have used viator previously in other countries and would definatley use them again. Many thanks Mel and Wendy x

Very good BUT:
Activated pass at the Airport OK but had to be a detective to find a 10th floor office in a tower block near the harbour to get the tickets for the Harbour Tour;
Advance pass to tram enabled us to miss most of the queue.

The sanpan boat ride is a nice touch but be prepared to pay extra. You will be forced into visiting a jewellery factory for a "toilet and coffee break" for a talk on gold and onto the showroom so they can sell you their goods. Tour then goes via Repulse Bay to stanley markets. Would have preferred to have more time here then a jewellery factory that isnt included in the itinerary. Lastly, tour ends up Victoria Peak... but you wont get much a view because you take the tram down and trees will block most of the view. I have mixed feelings about this tour most of it was enjoyable. Guides were very friendly and spoke great english, buses were nice, locations were well chosen... but I am definitely not happy that this company takes you to a jewellery showroom. I PAID for a city tour. When I booked this tour this information was not included in the notes, I see now that the itinerary has changed to include it but feel the tour could be better without the showroom visit.

This tour was value for money the only thing I thought was over-rated was the Peak tram.

The highlight of this tour was the tram ride at the peak, great fun for the family. We also enjoyed getting away from Central and seeing beautiful Repulse Bay and doing some shopping at Stanley Market. Highly recommended.

Extremely enjoyable - loved Stanley Market. I thought the tram down Victoria Peak was also amazing. A good overview of Hong Kong I would recommend to anyone.

A great day! Very engaging guide and an opportunity to see parts of the island not easily reached by public transportation. We even beat the huge lines for the Peak Tram! Well worth the price!

This was a great tour, the tram is wickedly steep, the peak is great, and the location of Madame Tussards, (if you have time definately do that) the Stanley Street Markets are awesome, and I bought some great oil paintings, excellent for creative buys..our tour guide was really friendly and informative. don't miss out on this one.

Buyer beware. The cost is low but much of the pass is worthless.
The good:
The Peak tram is an absolute must do in HK! This pass worked with no problems.
The frustrating:
There is no way to obtain your pass before arriving in Hong Kong so if you have a flight that occurs late at night (mine arrived 11.20PM) you can forget about using the airport transfer.
I agree with the other reviewer about the Victoria Harbour tour pass. This must be obtained from the 10th floor Star Tower on the same day as the tour and the receipt brought to the pier. The problem is that the office doesn't open until 9 AM (if on time) and the tours starts at 10. If you show up any other time, like attempting to book a day in advance, you are refused. However the tour is superb!
Also as noted, the DHK balloon is out of commission, Viator has now updated this on the web site but this was not the case when I booked.
The really bad:
Quote: "Fisherfolks’ Village on Lamma Island: Enjoy a 30-minute scenic ferry ride from Hong Kong Island to Lamma Island. Then, explore this quaint fishing village to learn about the humble culture of fisherfolks" Except that the ferry ride is NOT included. What DO you get for this "tour" when you arrive? Only a photocopy of a map and you're on your own. Bleh!

Good overview of Hong Kong. A fair amount of travel time involved due to heavy traffic. Aberdeen is no longer worth going to, it has outgrown it's fishing village status. Would have preferred a return trip on the peak tram rather than just down. Tour host Wendy very friendly and informative.

Riding the tram was great and we saw a lot in a half day but too long at the jewellery workshop for me

f you are looking for sightseeing rather than just shopping or theme park in Hong Kong, the See Hong Kong Pass is a very good choice and provides huge savings. 1-day pass costs only $399 and I did 4 activities which are worth around $700, quite a good deal, right?
I started the day early and joined a Big Bus Tour (Hong Kong Island). The bus took me to the Peak Tram Station where I did a free round trip of the Peak Tram. And then headed to the Kowloon side to have a free Dim Sum lunch at a very cool Chinese restaurant. Got some time left, I did some shopping at the Kowloon station shopping mall and then went to the DHL Hong Kong Balloon nearby to see the beautiful skyline of the city at 100m high.
As I travel by myself, I really love to explore the city and get to try every as much as possible. Great that the pass has around free 20 activities to choose from , so it is quite flexible for trip planning. If I got one more day, I will definitely get a 2-day pass to see more, especially the Big Bus Stanley Tour and the wine tasting activity!

This was a really great tour to familiarize yourself with the city. Comfortable bus and informative commentary from our guide WendyYip! Relaxing morning with time for a coffee at a cafe near Stanley Markets - time for shopping as well! Up to the peak and down by tram. An enjoyable activity!

A useless trip...instead of showing you the things to see in Hong Kong, first 2-3 hours are spent on a "sampan" (boat)-ride around shanty-boat-town for which you have to pay extra money direct to the operator, and then touring of a jewelry factory during which you are incited to buy jewelry at above-market prices. The only thing worth taking this trip is the ride to Victoria Peak and then the return tram-ride. Everything else is just a waste of time and money.

This was a good way to see Hong Kong island in one go, especially as i had a flight to catch later that day. The best was saved til the last by going to Victoria Peak then coming down the tram. That was really fun! Thank you
