Doing what: Hong Kong Harbor Night Cruise and Dinner at Victoria Peak
Would have been better if not for the rain that evening. The tour guide was informative and helpful. Dinner was excellent (not the revolving restaurant) at Victoria Peak.
Overall a good night out.
If you are short of time the half day tour is a must do.Gives you a really good look around different parts of Hong Kong. Aberdeen and the Jumbo restaurant was fun as was Stanley market. The "peak" is a must and the tram journey down was not to be missed.Good value for money tour.
It was ok...but the dismal weather meant that the trip up to Victoria peak was a waste of time because of the fog. It would have been great otherwise
very intersting excursion rounded off with nice journey on the Peak train
Excellent value for money! The guide was very informative and entertaining, however she did not stop talking at all which got on your nerves after a while. Enjoyed Victoria Peak with it's amazing views, Aberdeen and the opportunity to go on a Sampan and see the floating community. Stanley market not bad if you want to bag a bargain. The worst place was the obligatory jewellery factory that they take you to on all these trips - prices hiked up for the tourist - take my advice and wait outside!!

Doing what: Hong Kong Sunset Cruise plus Dinner at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant
We found the cruise and the dinner excellent The beautiful lights of Hong Kong and Kowloon were definately worth seeing from the water. Out host for the night was very informative and entertaining. After seeing the view from Victoria Peak during the day it was great to see the view from mid way at night also. Can recommend this trip sat with people from many different countries so it was a truly entertaining evening.
Ideal tour if you only have a short time in Hongkong. The day was abit hazy but the view from the Peak was amazing. We felt the stop at the jewelry factory was a waste of time and would have prefered to use it elsewhere.
Good trip - saw all the major sights of HK island, including peak tram, Aberdeen harbour and Stanley market and beach. Would have given it five stars if we had not wasted time on an unnecssary trip to a jade factory with an accompanying hard sell.
Very enjoyable with an entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide. The extent of the tour included Victoria Peak, Stanley Street market and a sampan ride. Great value for money.
Enjoyed the tour though it could use a bit more content. Tram ride down from the peak was pointless really seeing as we were coming backward! Not enough time at the peak. Liked Aberdeen and the boat trip.

Doing what: Hong Kong Island Half-Day Tour
The peak is worth the visit alone to Hong Kong!
The tour was interesting and reasonably priced. We were taken by bus to most locations, which included Hong Kong Island Central, a visit to a typical factory shop at Happy Valley, Stanley markets and the Peak. We descended from the Peak by the Cable Car and also took an option Sampan cruise at Aberdeen. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and the view from the Peak was entirely obscured. Moral of the story, if it is a clear day, do the trip to the Peak there and then, dont wait for another day! Good points: Great commentary comfortable bus, good perspectives of the Island. The sampan cruise was interesting and well worth the small extra fee. Great driving on some pretty narrow roads, reliable pick up from and return to the central meeting point. Not so good points: The visit to the factory shop was not so much to see typical working life, but more please buy something here not so impressed by this. It was too contrived. Despite the advice on the booking reference, there was no pick up from our hotel - we had to make our own way to the Kowloon Hotel. In conclusion, I would have taken the tour regardless of the negative points. It was nice to see Hong Kong Island and hear it described from a locals perspective.
This was a lovely start to our stay in Hong Kong. We really enjoyed the boat ride in Aberdeen and the guide was excellent, pointing out many of the landmarks en route. We had a lovely brunch in Stanley and the views from the Peak were unforgetable. All very well organised.
This trip wasn't as good as the full day one that I did of Lantau Island, but it was still worth it if you don't have much time to see Hong Kong and want to cram it all in one day or are traveling alone like me! We went up to Victoria Peak by bus and took the tram down, rode a 'Sampan' boat at Aberdeen fishing village which costs extra but not much. Shopped at Stanley Market we only had an hour there, it would have been nice to have longer! We then visited a jewelry factory. The jewelry factory was a bit of a waste of time and was really expensive. Other than that it was definitely worth the money and I enjoyed the day!
It's a tour I would recommend if you are going to Hong Kong for the first time. Victoria Peak was a real highlight, and the tour guide was great!
