Reminiscent of urban landscapes from cyberpunk novels, Hong Kong is eclectic, fast paced and modern, with enough towering skyscrapers, electric streetscapes, commercial fervor and cultural idiosyncrasies to utterly swamp the senses of a visitor. ...

Very pleasant! The "guide" was good at explaining the nuances of cocoa and chocolate making, and made the whole experience fun.
Thank You.

Fascinating way to begin our trip in Hong Kong. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and helpful. Some of my best photos are from this tour.

Great tour, shame it was rainy on the day but nothing could dampen the raw beauty of Lantau island. Excellent vegetarian lunch and visit to the Buddha. Loved visiting Tai O fishing village - very interesting market and gorgeous scenery. Magical ride on the gondola at the end of the tour. Highly recommended - so different from Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

This is amazing.....The trip from start to stop was great. Out tour guide was entertaining and supplied us with great facts of the island. The cable car ride was also amazing even though it was raining the experience was fantastic. Thank you Viator for your great service. When we checked in to the hotel the tickets were there.

Fantastic tour. Our guide and driver were locals from the Tai O Fishing Village, and were known by everyone. Their passion for the island and their ability to tell its story was enthralling . The day we were there the Giant Buddha was shrouded in cloud which made this amazing idol even more mystical. The island is covered with lush vegetation and a large population of cows abandoned by previous farmers, deer and water buffalo, they roam freely, all protected. The island is a paradise, and just across the water from Hong Kong, it's a "must do".

Loved this tour, There was a variety of things to experience and our guide, having lived in the fishing village, was able to answer all questions that were posed. A bit disappointed that I was unable to find a pink dolphin for my 2 granddaughters as per their only request, but lots of other goodies to buy instead for them. The lunch at the monastery was very tasty. The ride down in the cable car was exhilarating and enabled us to view the fantastic mountain scenery.

We used this to go to the cable car station that goes up to the "Peak" to overlook Hong Kong. The fog/smog completely obscured our view. We also took the bus to the other side of the island formerly housing British and other foreign nationals - nothing very interesting to us.

Only had one day in Hong Kong and this was an efficient way to get around. It included a round-trip ticket up the tram to Victoria Peak (which you must take advantage of). It also included a 25 minute Sampan ride through a boat village which I wouldn't do again. The boat village and the water were filthy, but the driver of the boat offered to drop us off at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant which we wish we had time to take advantage of. If you have time, stop at the beach in Repulse Bay as it was so hot and humid in Hong Kong that we considered jumping in fully clothed. Stanley Market is worth a visit: they have a lot of the same stuff they sell at the night market, but they are way less in your face. We only had one day to use the bus and i was worth it.

This is a good day trip. The guide was informative, the sights were lovely and the different modes of transport (ferry, bus, boat, cable car, bus) were good. The fishing village, Buddha, Monastery were all great. We were lucky to have a clear day, albeit a tad warm!
