Like most of Asia, the lunar Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in Hong Kong. The 2013 Chinese New Year holiday falls from February 7 to 14, and if you plan to be in Hong Kong at any point during the festivities, you’ll need to plan ahead to make the most of your visit.
