Hong Kong‘s traditional festivals are colorful and noisy affairs. Fireworks, lion and dragon dancers, Chinese opera, mah jong, fortune-telling, carnivals and parades are all part of the unique festive atmosphere.
Two such festivals have recently been lauded in China’s national list of intangible cultural heritage.
