Historic Sights in Ibiza’s Old Town
Sure, many people go to Ibiza, Spain, for the parties, but some come to see its Old Town. Perched atop the Island’s harbor, it tempts travelers to ditch their nighttime plans and instead spend the day discovering a little bit of history.

Ibiza’s Old Town is made up of a collection of neighborhoods, punctuated by its hilltop fortress called Dalt Alta, or High Town. Up the steep sloping rise, and through the 16th-century near-perfect walls via the Portal de Ses Taules, you’ll enter Dalt Alta’s impenetrable confines.
