Comment from Erin R
Indeed, Ibiza, Spain, has long been a destination for those seeking an eccentric escape. During the 30s, artists and writers left the mainland and spreading fascism, to settle on the island getaway. It’s no surprise then that, with the advent of a democracy in the 70s and the increase in tourism, the island was ripe for some sweet hippy-style shopping. And thus, the original market was born some 35 years ago.
