Our room at Burcu Kaya hotel in Cappadocia

June 2015

The room and bathroom were small but comfortable. There is a phone, fridge and small safe. However, some rooms that other tour members received did not have a phone or fridge.

Last 2 nights in Cappadocia at the Burcu Kaya Hotel

June 2015

This hotel is kind of maze-like but interesting. Definitely not your typical hotel architecture and it certainly has charm and character. There are not elevators and hence, get some help if you have lots of heavy luggage.

Some rooms around a nice pool at Iris hotel in Canakkale

June 2015

Tip: If your feet is sore from all the walking on the 1st day, check out the reasonably priced foot massage at the spa in this hotel. My best friend said that it was actually very good.

1st night at the Iris hotel in Canakkale

June 2015

This 3.5 star my rating hotel has 1 of the nicer locations by the beach. After over-eating on an included wonderful buffet dinner, you can sit down to a view of the beautiful sun set to end a great 1st day.

An example of a light lunch for 2 at a highway stop

Lunches were not included in the tour and there were brief stops along the way for breaks and lunches that you pay for yourself. Most are quite good and very affordable.

Thrill of a lifetime balloon ride in Cappadocia - dont miss this!

June 2015

Although this is an expensive, optional add-on to your tour in Cappadocia, it's worth every penny for the sights and experience.

Big, white, spacious and comfortable air-conditioned tour bus with wi-fi

June 2015

There were about 20 of us in the tour group - hence, lots of room to sit anywhere in this big bus. However, there was no toilet on board but there were stops every 2-3 hours for breaks.
