We were required to do a written eval. The day of the tour. I do not like to duplicate work.

A guide who is quit full of knowledge/history. Always had his eyes on everyone to make sure no one gets lost. Covered major attractions. I was pretty much happy about his efficiency of handling the group; priority entry to these places was as if it was like priority boarding at the airport gate=very nice!!!

Our guide was good and we enjoyed the tour. Two issues however. We had to rush to Blue Mosque. We got in with 1 minute to spare at 11:59. Once in we were told we had to leave.

The second issue is that there was no carpet retailer disclosed as part of the tour. Rather than go to the Grand Bazaar we got a carpet pitch for 40-60 minutes. We were very unhappy that we had very little time at the Grand Bazaar. My wife was not pleased. We would use another tour company next time.

Functional but uninspired. We saw most of the sites and everything went reasonably well, but it wasn't an exceptional day. Poor weather and the Pope's visit to Hagia Sophia, which closed the facility, didn't help.

We were very happy with the sites on this tour, however our guide lacked enthusiasm and unfortunately he didn't give us much of an insight on the sites we visited. The lunch was nice.

To start, the sights visited on this tour are amazing and any visitor to Istanbul should visit them. The tour guide explained the significance of the buildings and let us walk around which was very convenient. I enjoyed the tour BUT a little detail was left out on the tour title. The tour takes you to a designer carpet shop, where a salesman describes all the different types of carpet in Turkey. Then they try to persuade you to buy one of their carpets in a highly pressured atmosphere. This is the part i disliked. But I enjoyed the sights and the lunch was very average. Be warned!
