Brilliant! Small group of 8 compared to busload on ship tours.We were picked up at port in van,whisked to the excellent venue ahead of ship excursions,given a great spot on balcony.Great service from our waiter as we were served good food and drinks and then treated to outstanding show with local Turkish culture,some good pop singing at the end with this guy who could sing any country's songs in their language and the amazing belly dancers-4.Outstanding value-not to be missed!

Omar was a geat tour leader-knew the answer to every question. He was very professional in the way he handled the request to add the cisterns to the itinerary. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting Istanbul. What a beautiful city.

THIS WAS THE BEST TOUR OF OUR WHOLE TRIP...GUIDE WAS GREAT!!!!!!! LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT HISTORY AND CULTURE. TRAFFIC WAS SOMETHING TO DEAL WITH, BUT WE SAW A LOTS OF THINGS. LUNCH WAS A NICE BREAK TO VISIT WITH PEOPLE FROM THE AROUND THE WORLD. THE GUIDE WAS ABLE TO DO THE TOUR AND HELP A MAN WITH WALKING PROBLEMS. AND I'M SURE WE DIDN'T MISS A THING...THANKS AGAIN VIATOR

This is an excellent tour-- we really saw a lot in the time we had in Istanbul. It is a fascinating city. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but not very friendly or personable. We were grateful, however, that he did NOT push the carpet store on us-- he acquiesced to our group's wish not to go there. The lunch provided was excellent and in a very beautiful location looking out over the Sea of Marmara. We highly recommend this tour.

Our guided tour of Istanbul was excellent made so by the extensive knowledge of the history of the area shown by our guide.It also helped that our group was small and we were able to hear everything he said.we had only one day in Istanbul and the tour has whetted our appetite to return.

Our local tour operator was Neon tours. Our tour guide Seviley was very good in explaining the local attractions and history. We took this tour as a shore excursion on the Celebrity Equinox with 5 other couples (we are from Canada, as were 3 of the couples. The other 2 being from California). We enjoyed our group so much that we hung out with some of them later on in the trip (we met them all on this tour). They try to keep these tour groups small. The tour takes you through the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. All of them are spectacular; but, towards the end of the day, they do start to look the same. The lunch was good. It was at the patio style restaurant at the Best Western Hotel with a view of the river. If you are exposing your elbows or knees, keep in mind that you will be asked to cover them up with a blue cloth in the mosque. You will also be asked to remove your shoes (bags to carry them will be provided). The tour ends at the Grand Bazaar. You have 1 hour on your own to explore the bazaar which is not enough time. If you are trying to buy something, the negotiations could take some time. Keep in mind that if you do not negotiate (bargain) with the vendors, they do get insulted. Overall, it is a great way to see the city in one day. We really enjoyed this tour!

Awful. Guide was condescending, walked way ahead of some of us, carried a beige envelope as a guidepost..... Utterly ridiculous as we could not see it.

Great tour! Engin our guide was brilliant, great English and his knowledge was great too. Istanbul is easy to make your own way around, but it was also good to know what you're looking at! Thanks Viator for a great trip.

I checked in from Hagia Sofia and almost got on the wrong bus. If it weren't for a kind stranger passing by, I would have had to pay extra and be fooled, because when I showed my Viator Voucher, they said it was their bus. I suggest Viator to mention a warning in itinerary and put a more eye-catching signpost at Hagia Sophia.The tour itself was pleasant and informative. It helped me better my understanding of Istanbul a lot. Very worthwhile.

Great day. Guide knowledgeable and considerate. First class use of time available.Kept us all moving and covered vast amount of information, Lunch ready on arrival, perfectly adequate and not too long spent at restaurant. Certainly use Viator again.
