This was a very cost effective way to see the sights of Istanbul.
Presented our Viator vouchers, which I had printed off. Had no problems, all very easy.

This was excellent. It was more than just food culture. It was Turkish culture and food. The guide was excellent. We learned so much about the culture and history and how they are expressed today through food, family and life in general. My daughters said it was the best of the 2 tours that we took because we were able to get out and interact with "real" people and not just other tourists and the local salesmen.

The bus was waiting for us at the cruise terminal and was ready for all weather with a top but no sides upstairs. There was an exciting trip through the city which seemed to truly reflect the way of life there! The commentary advertised other tours which could have been helpful for some visitors. The most useful stop is at the square where the major tourist places are eg The Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, The Archaeological Museum, Topkapi Palace and access to the river trips. This was clearly indicated by the commentary.

Good value for money and great option to see some of the monuments from the bus and do a couple of stops on the way. Taxis in Istanbul are a bit of a nightmare, so a good option to avoid them!

The HOHO concept is great! We've used them in several other cities with great success. We even used them as our taxi in Barcelona since a pickup point was right in front of our hotel.
The Istanbul program covered all the high points...just what we were looking for.

I checked in from Hagia Sofia and almost got on the wrong bus. If it weren't for a kind stranger passing by, I would have had to pay extra and be fooled, because when I showed my Viator Voucher, they said it was their bus. I suggest Viator to mention a warning in itinerary and put a more eye-catching signpost at Hagia Sophia.The tour itself was pleasant and informative. It helped me better my understanding of Istanbul a lot. Very worthwhile.
