This was an excellent tour, however more of a walking tour than a bus tour but excellent nonetheless. The guide was very accommodating and knew everything that she needed to know. The grand bazaar was closed on our tour day so she took us to the spice markets instead. If we wanted to see or try something in particular, she took us to suitable stalls/shops where the products were legitimate and of good quality. A tour worth doing to show you some of the important tourist sights in the old town of Istanbul.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

Guide (Ahman?) was waiting promptly on wharf. Initially asked whether we would like to go the Markets first but after that no dialogue although spoke good English. He was critical of woman with wheelchair and complained that she should have advised via internet booking but she did not have to use wheelchair at time of booking. He did not assist at all but the courteous, friendly driver did.
Guide did not explain day's activty sequence, grumpy re toilet requests and generally unfriendly. On return to ship he sat in front of van and did not get out or even say goodbye. Very strange in comparison to driver. Van was modern, clean and comfortable and stops well chosen as per internet itinerary. Lunch was forgettable.
