Doing what: Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

Our guide, Luka, picked us up at our hotel, stopped when we needed to, was very pleasant and accomodating. The tour guide at Pompeii was very good. The ruins were interesting to see. The Amalfi Coast was beautiful. We loved the whole day.

What an AMAZING tour this was! Our Driver "ANTONIO" was Exceptional!!! He was Professional, Knowledgeable and Amazed My Wife and I with the history and stories of the areas we visited. From the pick-up from our hotel in Naples to the "BREATHTAKING VIEWS" of the the Amalfi Coast, the towns of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and the Wonderful lunch we had in Ravello this was the highlight of our trip to Italy. If you take this tour "ASK FOR ANTONIO". This is a tour you can't Miss!!! Many Thanks!

Great trip, amazing views, Pompeii guide excellent

Antonio is absolutely Amazing and this tour was wonderful. A great way to experience the Amalfi coast. Great Lunch spot. Great Photo opportunities. Perfect is every way.

We had a great day. Our driver/guide was great. Pompeii was the the highlight. A long day but worth if you want to see pompeii and the amalfi coast and you are short for time.

We had a great time on this trip. Juan was an excellent guide. Visiting Pompeii was an awesome experience. Positano and the Amalfi coast were so beautiful. We highly recommend this trip, it was a real highlight of our visit to Italy.

Doing what: Amalfi Coast Private Day Tour from Sorrento

Our driver, Antonio, was great. We have been here before and wanted to visit certain areas and eat lunch in Ravello. We were on a cruise and had to be picked up in Naples instead of Sorrento, dues to high seas. This was not a problem. We would definitely use them again.

Doing what: Amalfi Coast Private Day Tour from Sorrento

This was a great tour. Private was the way to go. However our tour guide didn't really take our tastes into account for the lunch and it was not what we would have chosen. It was a high pressured sales pitch for condos and it left a bad taste in our mouths after a great tour.

Our guide who drove us around the whole day was fantastic. He was tireless in making sure we all enjoyed ourselves. I particularly liked the tour of Pompeii. Our guide was very knowledgeable and clear and you could see he was passionate about his work.

Second best all day tour in Italy only losing out slightly to the Tuscany tour from Florence. Great guide and great day.

It was wonderful, I highly recommend this trip. It was beyond what I expected.

Too much driving in a small van with 8 people. Since the three of us were in the third row, we could not hear the Tour Guide who directed his discussion with those in the front. The air vents were blowing so loud that we could not hear him, and if they were turned down we would have roasted as the van was very warm. Pompeii was marvelous.

Doing what: Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

It was a very long day of driving. Who you end up on tour with is random and can make a huge difference. We had some guests that were "difficult" which changed the vibe of the whole day unfortunately. Pompeii was interesting but we rushed through it to stay on time and didn't get to see the brothels everyone asks about. We spend more time in Positano but almost everything was closed (November) so not much to do after lunch although it was beautiful. If you take this trip, bring something you can do in a dark car on the way home because it was a long 4 hour drive with everyone but me sleeping and nothing to see because it was night....

Doing what: Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

A big day out but very enjoyable in an 8 seat minivan. Our guide spoke good English and was very helpful and well organized. The Amalfi coast was stunning and we stopped several times to take photos. (tip: if you and our partner sit in the front with the driver, you can get some good shots through the windscreen as the van winds around the coastal route)
Pompeii is very impressive but does involve a bit of walking around the ruins.
Be prepared for a big day 7am to 9pm door to door. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day! Great to get out of Rome for the day and see the beautiful almalfi coast! Juan our guide was the best, very informative and gave us a great recommendation for lunch at Positano. My husband had time to squeeze in a swim after lunch while I looked in the shops and photographed the beautiful scenery. Pompeii was fantastic also, it was a two hour tour with Antonio who gave us Lots of information and laughs. Highly recommend this as a day trip as we had a ball. This tour was a highlight for us!
