For as much as Italy travel guides focus on the cities, there’s quite a bit of Italy that’s ideal for a variety of outdoor activities, no matter what the season.Fair weather visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, horseback riding, sailing, road cycling, hang gliding, and snorkeling, just to name a few. In the winter, this mountainous country becomes a haven for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Whether your trip includes all adventure activities or a mix of food, culture, and adventure, there are undoubtedly tours to suit you. This is especially true if your preferred activity would require a bunch of gear that you don’t want to haul to Italy yourself – signing up for a tour means all the gear is provided, and all you need to do is show up.
