Jaco Travel Tips
Jaco, the surfing capital of Costa Rica during the rainy season, can be found on the Pacific Coast, easily accessible by bus or car from San Jose and Puntarenas or by boat from the Nicoya Peninsula. And though it is more sedate than some spring break destinations, during the dry season it becomes the party capital.
With a wide range of hotels, restaurants with worldly cuisines, and beaches galore for travelers looking to make memories, Jaco is one of the few cities in CR with resort-town amenities. In addition to the beach, there are many activities available in Jaco, including sportfishing, horseback and ATV riding, and tours in Carara National Park.
