Hawa Mahal

This was a really great way to see Jaipur! It's a long drive but well worth it. I stayed at the Peppermint hotel, really great, Sunjay my guide was so knowledgable on the history! The palace and amber fort were fantastic. I wish I had another day to explore. Thank you

I confirmed this trip via email about 5 days prior from the US and got a response right back. Our driver met us at our hotel right on time. The car was just fine with air conditioning and seat belts. I want to emphasize that our driver was excellent - but note that driving in India is not for the faint of heart. I guess you just have to experience it. We met our guide in Jaipur who took us to our hotel which was nice. We checked in and then toured some sights. The next day we took an elephant ride to the top of the Amber Fort. Great pictures. The pink city is not to be missed.

I would have to recommend this trip to anyone visting for the first time. All the hassle is taken out and the sights can be enjoyed with no worries about arrangements..
Taj Mahal and Amber Fort are the absolute highlights and will stay in my memory forever. Another, and unexpected, highlight was the traffic. An overwhelming mixture of livestock, millimeter driving and 'ghost-traffic' also made a lasting impression. Only the skills of the very courteous driver prevented a large number of casualties.
On the downside (hence not 5 stars), the hotels (especially the one in Agra) were substandard and the guides insisted on bringing me to shops for the commision part of their (small) income.
But, all-in-all, unforgetable .....

we had a wonderful trip while in jaipur.. our tour guide was BP. on our way back to Delhi, our driver was pulled over at one of the toll roads after it appeared that he didn't pay a toll tax.. our driver didn't speak any English and couldn't tell us what the problem was..it was extremely scary

Not quite sure how to rate this tour. We got our money's worth at the Taj Mahal, so the whole trip was worth the time and discomfort of travel. Our car was very small, and for the two of us scrunched in the back seat it was a challenge to keep our spirits up. That said, no one will ever get a better bird's eye view of the REAL countryside and lives of the Indian people. We couldn't stop gawking at the colors- saris, vegetable stands, mustard fields, red stone, white marble, garbage...... and animals-elephants, camels, cows, chickens. dogs, monkeys, water buffalo... and vehicles- tuk tuks, huge loads on little trucks, motorcycles everywhere, little cars, big cars, bicycles........and people everywhere.
Our hotels were disappointing as they were to be 4 star, but in fact were very, very filthy. I wore my flip flops so I could tolerate the shower. I don't know what can be done about this, as the standard in the country is not like our Western standards, but maybe ask for an upgrade to a five star in Agra and in Jaipur.
Our guides were reasonable. Our driver spoke little English, but was very dear, prompt, and agreeable. The tours were priceless. We ended up thrilled with our trip, but paid a price. Ask for a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you need some wiggle room in your car.

Great tour. The highlight is the elephant ride. Be careful with the guide, the ride is included, ours insisted it wasn't and I paid for it. When I notified Viator, they inmidiately refunded the cost.

This was a truely memorable trip with excellent guides at each place and our driver Ajmer was brilliant. While I was nervous that the original hotels got changed, I need not have been concerned. In fact the hotel in Jaipur was more central that the original one noted.
I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone.

Well it's a long drive no way around that but driver made good time and had a nice midway stop for breakfast. Tour guide and Driver were good and we had a great time. The Elephant Ride was definitely a highlight.

Very nice driver and over all very informative tour! We had several various tour guides- and although that became a bit confusing, it was an unforgettable experience. The hotels were average - better in Jaipur than Agra.

Jaipur was great, but the ride took 7 1/2 hours and the car was old. The restaurant was a littlebit dirty with average food. They wanted to bring us to shopping places where they get comission. The guide spoke bad english. We spent 5 weeks in India and we can tell it was overpriced for what we got.

We are very glad that we took this tour as it allowed us to see places that we would not have been able to see by ourselves, in such a short time, without a lot of stress! We were looked after the whole time by honest, hard working people and we appreciated the extra efforts they went to regularly.

A very good value! It was hard to understand my tour guide. Very nice hotel. The elephant ride was great.

The tour to Jaipur was fantastic! The driver did an excellent job of getting us safely and comfortably from Delhi to Jaipur and back (no easy task in India!) and even pointed out interesting sites along the way. Our guide was terrific and very accomodating to our needs. The highlight was the elephant ride into the Amber Palace. Also really enjoed the detailed tour of the palace and getting to know more about palace life as well as the history and culture of the pink city. I would definitely recommend!

Very nice trip...driver and guide were excellent. Only complaint is that there was not hot water at the hotel.
