Osaka Castle was beautiful during the cherry blossom season of March-end April. Our hotel, the Sheraton Myako was only a short taxi ride from the hotel.When you arrive you will see how large this castle is in person even from a distance as its surrounded by deep motes and bridges. The gardens are well taken care of and are just stunning as your stroll towards the castles main courtyard. Along the way you can rest and enjoy a few treats from the food tents don't forget to try a Japanese favourite...octpus balls! Theres a small fee to go inside the castle itself, with an elevator for the disabled, and a lot of stairs for everyone else! but its worth it once your reach the observation deck at the top floor and a stroll through the museum inside where you can find a large variety of historical materials and displays.
